Sharon Osbourne has opened up for the first time following the death of her husband Ozzy.
On 22 July, heavy metal’s ‘Prince of Darkness’ died aged 76 from Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological condition affecting movement and brain function.
“Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilise. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs,” Sharon, his wife of 43 years, said in an interview with The Sun in February.
Thousands of people lined the streets of Birmingham for the Black Sabbath frontman’s funeral procession on 30 July.
Sharon, 72, and several of their children – Kelly, Jack, Aimee and Louis Osbourne – were pictured tearfully reading tributes left by fans at memorials.

Two months after her husband’s death, Sharon provided an update for fans on social media.
The former X-Factor judge posted a video of herself and daughter Kelly, 40, in a field with some birds.
Alongside the clip, she wrote: “I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media.
“Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know.
“None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”

She added: “Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with.
“The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence.
“They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them.”
Sharon went on: “It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
Signing off the message, she said to her fans: “I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”
Commenting on the post, one fan wrote: “We adore you, Sharon! Although we’ve never met you, we grew up watching and listening to Ozzy, you, and your kids in the Osbourne family show.
“You all were such a hilarious, peculiar, and charismatic group that we were always entertained by every episode we watched. Stay strong!”
“My wife didn’t know who Ozzie was until he was gone. Now she is singing along to his songs. I think that’s pretty great,” another wrote.
