It has been a very long nine years for fans of System of a Down in the UK, as the band last played our shores at Download Festival back in 2017.
After teasing everyone for a few days with their logo popping up around London, they shared the exciting news of a whopping concert for 2026.
The Armenian-American metal favourites are set to play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and they’ll be joined by Queens Of The Stone Age and a newly-reformed Acid Bath in support.

Count ’em, there are five chances to get presale tickets for this long-awaited date for the Toxicity stars.

If you can’t make any of the presale dates, the general sale begins on Friday September 19 at 12pm on Ticketmaster. Prices for general admission have not yet been released, but it looks like there is a golden circle in front of general standing.

The band last released an album, Hypnotize, back in 2005.
Many fans had been hoping there might be new music what with this tour, but guitarist Daron Malakian from the band told NME that getting back together to tour should be enough: “That doesn’t mean that we’re going to make a new album, it just means that we’re friends again.”
“It’s the album s*** that drives wedges between us. I’m a little afraid to go there, to be honest with you.”
“I never say no, but at the same time, that’s not where we’re at right now.”
Meanwhile, Serj said: “We love each other, we respect each other, but we have creative differences and that’s stopped us going forwards. Maybe one day it won’t.”
While not confirmed for their 2026 gigs, what the band has been playing on tour in the US, and it’s packed full of greatest hits. It should give fans a taster of what’s to come next year:
