Lindsie Chrisley has crossed off intimacy for a full trip around the sun.
The reality TV star shared her decision to stay away from sexual relations with men, explaining that she is making a conscious effort to reach her goals. This comes after she got physical with her ex-boyfriend, David Landsman, recently, resulting in a legal battle following his arrest.
Lindsie Chrisley, popularly known as Todd Chrisley’s oldest daughter from his first marriage, has fostered a rocky relationship with her father and stepmother, Julie, who were convicted on fraud charges in 2022.

Lindsie has her heart set on an abstinence journey for the next 365 days. The former reality TV star shared that she has taken a vow of celibacy for a year and is committed to seeing it through.
She stated that the decision is the “healthiest thing in this moment that I could do.” She also explained that to ensure she goes a full year without sex, she is “marking it down on a calendar.”
In addition to staying away from intimate relationships with men as her countdown begins, the TV personality emphasized that she won’t be “having conversations with any man” as well.
The former “Chrisley Knows Best” star disclosed the details on Thursday’s episode of her “The Southern Tea” podcast, stressing that she plans to stick to her decision.
“No one can talk me out of it,” the mom of one noted after explaining that putting the countdown out there was a big step to keep her accountable.

Late in the episode, titled A 365-Day Promise, Lindsie looked back on her relationship with her ex-husband, Will Campbell, whom she was married to from 2012 to 2021. The ex-lovers met in 2009 while studying at Georgia State University and welcomed a son, Jackson, during their marriage.
She shared that being with her ex-husband for a very long time brewed a high level of understanding they had for each other. “I was with Will for so long – I mean, 12 years is a long time, and we knew each other from so many different times of life, seasons of life,” she said.
Speaking further, the podcaster explained that they understood each other’s actions, decisions, and complimented one another. Lindsie explained how their schedules at home aligned easily without any words said to her listeners.
She then admitted that she does not feel she could ever relearn that dynamic with another partner, adding that enduring any more trauma at her age was not an option in her books, even though she yearns to be a wife someday.

Lindsie gave herself another shot at love with David for two years before calling it quits in April. The former couple was involved in a heated altercation, which resulted in David’s arrest and the former realty star filing for a protective order against him.
The mom of one detailed that she broke up with David on April 10 after his arrest on aggravated assault and strangulation. The incident that led to his arrest happened a day prior at dinner when David became agitated and verbally aggressive after noticing a photo on his then-girlfriend’s phone.
The court documents filed by Lindsie show that David believed another man was in the picture, and after she made him realize it was him, he apologized, but was still on edge. When they returned to his home, the 36-year-old podcaster declared the relationship was over and packed her bags.
The Blast reported that she also confronted him “about the lies he was telling in reference to the personal matters he is going through.”
Hearing the questions from Lindsie, David snapped and reportedly strangled her multiple times before throwing her out of the house. According to the TV star, this was not the first time her ex got physically violent towards her.

After sources claimed David “went berserk” on Lindsie, she filed for a restraining order to stop him from having any access to her or her environs. She requested that the court order David to stay at least 500 yards away from her and to stop all forms of harassment and intimidation.
Following their messy split and weeks of legal battle, the former lovebirds finally agreed to a temporary truce and entered into a mutual no-contact order. The order stipulated that they maintain at least 500 yards from each other, including their homes and workplaces.
While they welcomed no kids during the course of their relationship, they shared a dog, and there were official instructions on who would get the beloved Dachshund Oliver. The Blast shared that Lindsie got custody of the pup.
The documents stated that the “Petitioner’s dog, called Oliver, shall be returned to Petitioner,” and a third party was ordered to pick up the pup from David within 48 hours. However, David filed documents requesting custody of Oliver.

Lindsie has been estranged from her father, Todd, and half-siblings for years, with increased issues after his conviction. Todd and his wife Julie were convicted of fraud and tax evasion charges in November 2022 and sentenced to 12 and 7 years behind bars, respectively.
Months later, the “Chrisley Knows Best” alum was offered a spot on a documentary about her family’s legal problems, which she turned down. The Blast shared at the time that Lindsie explained that participating in the documentary was “not really worth” her time.
She also explained that it would be grossly unfair to Todd and Julie because “they would be documenting about people who can’t potentially defend themselves in the event that they would need to defend themselves.”
The mom of one admitted that staying out of the drama was the best for her mental well-being. At the time, Lindsie had also reportedly blocked her siblings during an argument to avoid further confrontation.
