Further details have emerged about the arrest made at the wedding of Tyson Fury’s daughter Venezuela.

The 16-year-old got hitched to Noah Price, 18, on Saturday (16 May) at the Royal Chapel of St John on the Isle of Man, before celebrating their reception at the luxury Comis Hotel and Resort.

Despite their tender ages, laws on the self-governing British Crown dependency permit anyone over the age of 16 to get hitched as long as they have parental consent.

Hours after the newlyweds said their ‘I do’s’, police then rocked up to the swanky venue where Venezuela and her new husband were dancing the night away and arrested a man.

According to reports, he was taken away by officers just moments after Peter Andre had wrapped up his performance at the Fury family wedding.

Now, a statement shared by the Isle of Man Constabulary has shared further details about why the man was bundled in the back of a police van – and it’s down to ‘disorderly behaviour on licensed premises’.

In a statement shared with LADbible, police said: “The Isle of Man Constabulary can confirm that officers were called to attend The Comis Hotel, Santon on the evening of Saturday 16th May 2026.

“A man was arrested and subsequently cautioned with a licensing offence.

“We are unable to comment further at this time regarding the identity of the individual involved or the circumstances surrounding the arrest.”

Cops can arrest a person who is behaving disorderly or acting indecently to the annoyance of any person on licensed premises under the Isle of Man 2021 Licensing Act.

The Daily Mail reported that four police cars turned up to The Comis Hotel on Saturday evening as the bash was well underway, while a man was also seen being searched by officers.

Hotel staff are said to have rang the police after wedding guests began arguing at the reception, according to the publication. A source claimed that although the alleged incident was ‘nothing serious’, employees at The Comis Hotel ‘didn’t want to take any chances’ and so alerted cops.

Prior to the update, police on the Isle of Man confirmed a man was arrested to LADbible and said ‘enquiries remained ongoing’.

“We are unable to comment further at this time regarding the identity of the individual involved or the circumstances surrounding the arrest,” a spokesperson for the force said in a previous statement.

Despite the disruption during the wedding reception, Venezuela’s famous father Tyson described her wedding as a ‘beautiful day’.

In an Instagram post shared on Sunday (17 May), the former heavyweight champion wrote: ” A beautiful day of celebrating my daughter’s wedding day, @venezuelaprice1 she was amazing & I’m very proud of her!

“We both were crying like babys [sic].”

Earlier on Saturday, guests made it through the drizzle to the church while some notable family members were missing.

Tyson’s brother, Tommy, was absent while his partner Molly-Mae Hague and daughter Bambi flew over in a private jet.

The three-year-old was one of Venezuela’s bridesmaids and her dad’s reps explained: “Tommy wasn’t there as he’s currently deep in training camp for his fight against Eddie Hall on June 13th.”

Venezuela’s grandfather, John Fury, also skipped the big day. He previously expressed his disapproval of her being in an intense relationship while still a teenager.

“They’re children,” John said previously. I don’t think she’s mature enough for anything like – she’s still a baby. On my watch a 15-year-old should never have a boyfriend, never.”
