The Little Rascals star Brandon ‘Bug’ Hall has been arrested after failing to attend a court date.
According to a report from TMZ, the former child actor, who is best known for his role as Alfalfa Switzer in the 1994 comedy film, was taken into custody after allegedly missing a court date on 31 December 2024.
The court date is understood to be in relation to an incident dating back to October 2024, when the 41-year-old was handed a traffic citation for not having liability insurance.
The arrest isn’t Hall’s first run-in with the law, with the actor previously being booked in 2020 for allegedly ‘inhaling [an] air duster’ in Texas.
According to a report from The Sun, was reported to have been seen near a hotel dumpster ‘huffing’, which involves inhaling household substances to get high, from cans.

The news of Hall’s newest legal troubles comes months after The Stupids actor was revealed to have given away his career earnings in order to live off-grid as a ‘radical Catholic extremist’.
Describing himself online as a ‘self-cancelled rascal’, ‘medieval moralist’ and ‘a patriarch to five beautiful ladies’, Hall reportedly moved his family to an 80-acre plot of land near the town of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and shares sporadic updates on his life via YouTube.
In a video titled ‘Into the Unknown’, published last year, Hall explained that he’d decided to sacrifice his career in the entertainment business in exchange for living a life of ‘poverty’ and keeping a strict adherence to his faith.
“The idea was really simple,” he said. “I no longer saw my career as being incongruous with my faith.
“It was a big pile of nothing,” he added.

Back in January, Hall opened up on his extreme lifestyle change in an interview with MailOnline back in January, revealing that his family currently lives in a campervan on the land, with the goal of being completely off-grid within six months.
The couple now homeschool their children and plan to discourage them from attending university, something which Hall believes is ‘nonsense’.
“My goal is to maintain a life as free of any need for an income as possible,” he said, telling the outlet his only bills were for a gas-powered generator, their car and a pair of cellphones.
“If there’s a financial need that comes up, I’ll go take some work or do an odd job, for cash to fulfil that need.”
