Migos star Offset has been shot outside a casino hotel in Hollywood, Florida after the rapper’s spokesperson confirmed that he is being treated for gunshot wounds.
“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” the rep said to Variety.
“He is stable and being closely monitored.”
TMZ reported that Offset, who shares three children with ex Cardi B, was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Monday evening (6 April).
The Seminole Police Department told the outlet that they are ‘aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7pm Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood’.

“Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly,” a rep for the force said, confirming that two people have been detained.
“The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
The 34-year-old, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, lost his bandmate Takeoff in 2022 after he was shot and killed outside a bowling alley in Houston.

Offset told Variety a year after that ‘It’s hard for me to talk about s**t right now’.
“I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man. Talking about all this s**t is hard,” he said.
“That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That s**t hurts.”
Offset and Quavo, the surviving members of the rap group, took weeks to respond publicly to the tragedy.
“Some things I don’t never tell nobody,” Offset added.
“He’s not here. That s**t feels fake, bro. I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”

Cardi B and Offset started dating in 2017 and secretly got married later that year.
However, The ‘WAP’ hitmaker filed for divorce in 2020 and in 2024 after an on-and-off relationship.
In a new interview on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast, she said: “I feel like last year, a new person was reborn.
“I don’t know if it was the divorce, or I don’t know if… Something just woke me up and I feel like I’m definitely a new person.”
“You got to take advantage of the moment of the moment now. And I feel like now is the moment,” the 33-year-old added.
