I would like to ask your thoughts on a trend I have been observing and experiencing both at professional and personal level: namely, ghosting.
Recruiter ghosting in the business world, ghosting in the dating world, ghosting in family relations.
In the business world, I hear about employers ghosting after an actual job offer (in spite of legal consequences and fines in many countries.)
In dating, I do not need to explain. You have written several posts about this.
Family ghosting is also an issue, when people you are supposed to be the most intimate with don’t respond to text messages or phone calls. Then, they show up at regular holiday gatherings happily taking gifts.
This ties in well with your earlier post about the lack of reciprocity.
This trend, however, leaves me baffled. With today’s technology, including AI, emojis, communication efficiency is supposed to be at its highest level.
Yet… A deafening silence
I would be interested to hear if you see any astrological explanation behind this trend and hear your feedback on this.

I don’t think there is a single astrological cause for this. Society has been trending this way for decades. Certainly since the advent of the internet.
I’m thinking about growing up in a neighborhood. I lived in town until I was six years old. It was classic Americana. Get up in the morning and ride your bike all day with the other kids in the neighborhood. Hide and Go Seek. Tag. Dance. Tell secrets. Run races. Whatever. No one would think of “ghosting” their friends. Their friends were their world!
Collectively speaking, we left that real world for a surreal world, long ago. Next thing we knew, people were falling in love with people on the other side of the world, rather than the boy or girl next store. If your energy directed afar, it’s no surprise your relationship with your neighbors, suffers, if it develops at all. Point here is you can see how this begins.
If we see that as a little fire burning, think of the gas that’s been thrown on top it: people are devalued in the media and really nothing but. Rich, poor, dark, light, Hungarian (you), American (me), and every other nationality. Also, gay, straight, man, woman, boomer, zoomer, millennial, X. Married, unmarried, divorce, sexual, celibate, pregnant, and on and on.
Basically, whoever you are and whatever you do, you’ve been diminished and denigrated for years. People absorb this. It’s should be no surprise, people swipe other people off the face of the Earth. They’ve been socialized…
People have been tricked into thinking they can do “life” alone. This seems true, right up until my husband has to drive me to surgery (or I him) and we need a neighbor to care for our dogs. I’m saying that’s a myth. You just don’t know until you know!
People get an inkling of this, from time to time, but it’s hard to rebuild bridges you’ve burned. Most take the path of least resistance, and double down on the ideas, they’d be better off discarding.
Ghosting in business… well, the fake jobs are posted for many reasons, like making it appear the company is healthy? So it’s a bit different, but the reason they can get away with it is the same. People don’t care about their neighbors. They certainly don’t care enough to boycott a business that delivers them convenience, so they can hang on the internet! So it is related.
To illustrate, I live in small town. It’s old school around here. Back when fuel prices were rising, sharply, my hair stylist told me, if the local gas station owner kept raising the prices, she was going to go talk to him. This is one charismatic lady (Leo, Scorpio moon). Specifically, he better not gouge the local people or they were going to quit buying gas there, altogether. She’d make sure of it! Most people aren’t in a position to do this, because the power has become too concentrated.
That brings me to my last point; I expect this to get worse, with Pluto in Aquarius. Aquarius is concerned with humanity. This is a dark period for humanity, clearly! Ghost/kill/eradicate with detachment.
To counteract it, we need LEO. Heart-centered living and creativity. Not to go to war against Aquarius, but to work with it.
I have just provided and example of what I mean. I collaborated with AI (Pluto in Aquarius) in a creative way (Venus in Leo), bringing light to humanity. Operation Cromolyn. See the comments, if this is not clear.
Ponder this: Human + AI > AI
There is a lot more to say about this. People don’t call or text? Consider they may have nothing to say! Literally.
