Jupiter is squaring off with both the sun and moon, constructing a Cardinal T-Square that’s as jarring as a surprise plot twist in your favorite drama. The full moon in Libra will take place at 12 degrees, in the late evening on April 1st. Jupiter will square the sun and moon, creating a tight Cardinal T-Square. While this energy is jarring, it’s possible to direct it in a positive way.

I say this because the sun and Jupiter are in exaltation. The moon is also fortified, with Libra-ruler Venus in it’s home sign, Taurus. While no one is likely to walk away with the whole bag, the full moon should provide an opportunity to negotiate.

This is not to say a person will choose to be fair or balanced or opt to seek a what may be a marginal win-win solution in a tense situation. But Jupiter will allow you to see the big picture under the light of the full moon.  If “all or nothing” is going to leave you with nothing, do you still want to make that play?

My bet is that many if not most will go for kill over the compromise as temperance is out of vogue and Venus will be squaring Pluto.

With the full moon conjunct my natal Mercury and Mars in Libra, I’m likely to be faced with a decision of this type. I have no idea what I’ll do, but I’m pretty sure a move towards peace will enrage “the other”.  How bizarre a person may opt to fight, in order to not infuriate a third party.
