Pluto in Aquarius Is Here to Shake Up Your Soul—Get Ready for Cosmic Alchemy Like You’ve Never Seen Before!

Added on July 27, 2025 inASTROLOGY CARDS

Ever wonder what it’s like growing up with a mom who’s not just an Aquarius but a double one – the kind who treats purging her belongings like a sacred art form? Well, buckle up, because this isn’t your average mother-daughter tale. With her sun blazing at 1 degree Aquarius, locked in a cosmic tug-of-war with Pluto, she perfected the ultimate Aquarian alchemy: shedding her old self faster than you can say “out with the old, in with the new.” Now, here I am, working with Aquarians wrestling with Pluto conjunct their sun—and it hit me like a lightning bolt during a chat with a client who was moving out in a flash. Could this be the secret sauce to Pluto’s intense transformative grind in Aquarius? My own mother’s whirlwind of passionate, sudden shifts—from painting life-sized bullfighters to learning Chinese and then poofing motherhood altogether—answers in a loud, unconventional way. So, if you’re an Aquarian struggling under Pluto’s pressure, maybe it’s time to ask yourself: how fast can you let go of your own old skin? Ready to dive into some cosmic purging and transformation? my mother

Many know, I was raised by Aquarians. My mother was a double Aquarius.  Her sun @ 1 degree was opposed by Pluto. That’s her in the picture.

I am now working with Aquarians with Pluto transiting conjunct their sun, so that’s a trip.  I was talking to one of them; she was moving, suddenly.  An idea hit me! “That’s Aquarian alchemy!” I said.

I’d been writing about alchemy in general. But what this gal told me, smacked of my mother, like in the face!

Now this a theory.  I can’t say it’s right,  but you know I tend to see things quickly. The client resonated with my idea so I told her I may publish it. Here it is…

My mother used to rid herself of her belongings on a routine basis. Baby, this woman knew how to purge. She was an anti-hoarder. It didn’t matter if she loved, LOVED her stuff.  A month later it was nowhere in sight.  This was funny, because she would also bitch about how much things cost!

In whatever case, one day I would go see her and she’d have Chinese art books stacked up.  She was teaching herself to read, Chinese, with them. Some months later, they books would be disappeared. She was  have some other thing she was doing.  She did this with music too. And clothing!  She was going to wear all black for awhile and then she got rid of that and wore all blue.  Whatever. That’s my mom!

There were also the life-sized bullfighter’s she painted on the walls of our home. We lived with three seven-foot-tall men, right up until she painted over them one day, unexpectedly.

So back the client, she decided to move.  Like instantly!  When she told me she didn’t need much, just one chair to sit in… well, I thought of mother, who also had one chair.  Yes, it was surrounded by what she was interested in… for a short time, anyway. Out with the new and in with the newer new!

beautiful burden

So where’s the alchemy? My mother taught herself to read Chinese, via art books and then flipped to Japanese art, to do the same thing.  This was different from when she ran with, Ted Degrazia, who taught her how to paint.  She sewed all day and then never sewed again!

My mother never dragged her old self, forward.  Seriously, when she was on her death bed, she told me very clearly, to stay away. She was never into her kids in the first place.

“Don’t you come here!  Go have fun. Enjoy your life!”  That’s code, for stay outa my hair and she meant it!

I said the same thing I always said. “Okay!”

My mother had “poofed” her motherhood self, decades prior.

If you’re Aquarian and suffering with Pluto in Aquarius – try letting go of your own corpse!

I almost forgot to explain! I have a packed 8th house.  I have brood and have ordeals in order to transform.  That is not the Aquarian way, or at least it’s not the Pluto-flavored Aquarian way. I vividly remember the day we came home from school, to find our mother burning her own paintings.  More than one hundred of them.  She’d decided she sucked at painting; she’d learn Chinese instead!

Can anyone relate?
