Well, well, well, looks like the stars were aligned just so for Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley, don’t you think? Easter Sunday – a day that’s all about rebirth and, spoiler alert, not just for the bunnies! I mean, really, who needs a celestial alignment when you’ve got Instagram to go official, amirite?
So, our dear Billy, still licking the wounds from his not-so-long-ago-saga with Firerose, finds his solace – and much more – with Liz, the “Austin Powers” bombshell. Let’s break it down:
Aries Season was in full swing when they decided to make it Insta-official. Aries, as we all know, is all about new beginnings, courage, and a bit of a wild ride. Sounds like Billy and Liz, doesn’t it? Aries rules the first house of personal identity, and what’s more “me, myself, and I” than posting your new boo on the ‘Gram?
Then there’s the Pisces touch – did they meet on the set of a movie called “Christmas in Paradise”? If that’s not Neptunian, I don’t know what is! Pisces governs our more romantic, dream-like escapades, and isn’t finding love, or at least finding someone to kid with at the right time, the stuff of dreams?
And let’s not gloss over the fact that Venus was probably in a pretty frisky mood at that point. I’m betting she was in Taurus – slow love, sure, but when you find it, it’s as solid as a rock. Here’s Billy, finding a connection, an ear during his tough times, and yep, laughter!
Now, let’s talk about all those years where they didn’t speak. Remember, Saturn can play the long game, teaching us patience or giving us the universe’s version of the silent treatment when we’ve been naughty. But when it comes to relationships, Saturn always has a way of bringing us back to where we’re supposed to be – albeit with a few cosmic wrinkles.
Key Points:
– Aries season: Bold moves, like going Insta-official.
– Pisces vibes: Love at its most celestial and a bit sappy.
– Venus in Taurus: Love slower than a slow cooker on low, but just as delicious when it’s ready.
You know what’s hilarious and quaint? That both these lovebirds were in two completely different orbits before fate decided they should reconsider. That unheard voice from Liz reached out to Billy like a friendly comet, bringing hope to his sky when he thought he’d just turned into a black hole.
Here’s hoping their charts keep aligning for laughs and, given the sheer amount of fire signs involved, a spicy romance. Meanwhile, let’s not forget Billy has had his share of matrimonial escapades, and Liz isn’t new to the game either. But, as any good stargazer will tell you: The cosmos loves a comeback story.
Mark my words, folks, we’ll see more cheek kisses, more Instagram stories, and perhaps even a celestial wedding in their future – but, please, no expectation setting here, just stargazingfor now.

The “Words by Heart” crooner elaborated on the extraordinary aspects of his first meeting with Hurley.
He said, “The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.”
Despite the initial strong connection they felt, Billy and Hurley would go two years without speaking to each other after filming “Christmas in Paradise.”
In addition to their lack of communication, Billy found himself in a difficult phase of life.

The 63-year-old opened up about his difficult period at the time, noting, “I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?'”
He continued, “For me, at a certain point it was like, you can’t get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you.”
However, when Billy least expected it, Hurley showed up. He shared, “And in this moment….a friend reached out.”
Billy disclosed that he didn’t know the number of the person who sent him the text message.”
He also revealed the message’s content, noting that it was along the lines of, “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”

The “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner compared the message to a heartfelt note he once received from Johnny Cash back in 1992, “when I was taking a bit of a pounding from the critics.”
He recalled, “Johnny said, ‘Hey, you know, just remember that all things that are good come from almighty God above and that stuff happens, and in your case… the good outweighs the bad. Let ‘em have it. I’m in your corner.'”
Reflecting on the message from Hurley, Billy said it reminded him “a bit of what Johnny had written me at my lowest point.”
He continued, “So, I text back, I go, ‘Who is this?’ And it’s like, ‘Elizabeth Hurley.’ Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh.”
Billy Ray Cyrus described Hurley as “a great human being” and shared in-depth details about their bond, noting, “If all we ever were [is] the friends that we are, I would take that. She’s so impressively brilliant. She reminds me a lot of Dolly Parton. She’s a very smart businesswoman.”
He added, “If you can laugh together, you can make it through everything.”

Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley’s Easter photo showed him planting a kiss on her cheek.
During his podcast appearance, he addressed the kiss, joking, “There will be one coming where she’s kissing me because people have been saying, ‘Why’s he always kissing her?’ Unfortunately, when I see her, when she puts her cheek out there, I don’t know what happens, I just kiss it.”
Reflecting on his relationship with Hurley, the “Hannah Montana” alum shared, “It’s just beautiful,” adding, “and again, no expectations of where we go from here other than her and her son — I do love him a lot, and it’s great that God brought them into my life when he did. It’s just a good thing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy.”
Billy and Hurley have had their fair share of relationship troubles. Billy has been married twice to Tish and Firerose, with whom he was married for less than a year.
In addition to his children with Tish, he also shares a son, Christopher Cody, with Kristen Luckey, his love interest before he began dating Tish.
Meanwhile, Hurley was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011. She is also the mother of Damian Hurley, her son with the late Steve Bing.
