Venus Drops the Mic with a Grand Trine: Your November 24-28 Horoscope Just Got Juicy—Don’t Miss the Cosmic Drama!

Added on November 24, 2025 inASTROLOGY CARDS

Ah, Thanksgiving week—a time when the scent of turkey mingles with the relentless buzz of early Black Friday deals pouring in before the pies have even cooled. I used to dodge the usual holiday frenzy by slipping across the border to British Columbia with my son—one year even scoring fleas at the Vancouver Game Farm, a “souvenir” no one asks for. This year, though, there’s a cosmic spin on the holiday hustle that’s got me wondering: with Venus cozied up in mysterious Scorpio and locked in a watery trine with retrograde Jupiter and Saturn, are we being nudged toward economic caution or a splash of unexpected generosity? And with Mercury retrograde teasing Venus, perhaps it’s a perfect storm for love, money, and the kind of nostalgic joy that doesn’t come with a receipt. So, will you be riding these celestial waves responsibly, or are you more tuned in to the chaotic dance of Mars and Juno pushing you to jump into action? Either way, the stars hint at a week to embrace both tradition and the unexpected twists—kind of like finding a hidden door in an escape room during a foggy Pisces Moon. Ready to see what the cosmos have mixed into your turkey this year? LEARN MORE

vodkaThis week is American Thanksgiving. I used to live near the border and utilized the holiday to take my son to British Columbia to sit on Santa’s lap for a photo (and a child’s glory of Christmas). Avoiding traditional holiday activities has been my specialty for decades.

One year we went to the Vancouver Game Farm (now the Greater Vancouver Zoo) and got fleas. That was exciting.

Currently the holiday has become entwined with shopping to the degree that the shopping begins before and continues through the holiday. This year, economic tides are worrying the folks that benefit from all this spending. Where do we see economic tides in the horoscope? Well, Venus in general, but this year we’ve got Venus in Scorpio (water) in trine to Jupiter (increase) in Cancer (water) and Saturn (restriction) in Pisces (water). How is that for economic tides?

Both Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde, and Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio — conjoining Venus on Monday then stationing direct on Saturday. The dramatic push and pull is favorably linked to Venus for love and money matters. Gifts are also Venus, as are aesthetics and beauty. Retrograde Neptune in Pisces is also in orb of this grand trine, and Venus will be in orb of opposition to Uranus in Taurus on Thursday for a kite (the day of the holiday itself). There’s plenty of reason to expect that if you’re being responsible, not going overboard, and allowing for the unexpected, there’s joy and pleasure and a spiritual connection that brings out the best sort of nostalgia we can imagine.

There’s also room for innovation or a turning of tables or tides.

However, many are sideways of the ease of this balance and optimally moderated tension. This still holds an opportunity to retrace our steps and restructure our expectations and our desires. Sagittarius Mars conjoins Juno all week with their sign-ruler Jupiter part of that grand trine and kite. Take action with passion when opportunities present themselves. If you feel ease in action, lock it in. It’s also a chance to steer out of a skid and hit the ground running. At the end of the week, Venus comes into orb of sextile with Aquarius Pluto on Thursday, and a larger, more concentrated revolution of this cycle is available to all.

Monday, the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon sextiles Venus and retro Mercury in Scorpio, squares retro Aries Chiron, opposes retro Jupiter, then sextiles retro Saturn. Go with your gut and follow up early on plans you may have let slide. You’ll be surprised how much better it goes than you would have expected. In fact, following up opens up a channel through which you’ll suss out unexpected gains. The Moon goes on to trine retro Uranus and sextile retro Neptune overnight.

Tuesday, the Moon moves to Uranus-ruled Aquarius and into conjunction with Pluto. It then sextiles the early degree Sadge Sun. The intensity you’re feeling on the inside shines out through your personality, much like light through a stained glass wall. It’s not just visible light, it’s charming and alive with meaning and story. Don’t second guess it; use this filter to your advantage. If you need to be persuasive, use broad strokes and let your confidence illuminate your path for others to see. It’s terrific “join me!” energy. It’s also con-magic, so don’t sell your cow for magic beans. Still, this is a passing mood and intensely well-purposed for feeling yourself and feeling alive. This whole week carries lock in and move forward with your life energy.

On Wednesday, the Aquarius Moon conjoins Pallas Athena, sextiles Mars, squares retro Mercury, then sextiles retro Chiron. Overall, we’ve got a mood trajectory that builds confident momentum which carries the mood through missed connections or mistakes. If you learn something, pick up on something you’ve missed, misdirected, or misunderstood, that’s part of the sauce. Overnight, the Moon squares Venus as well, so remember: you’re not in control — control is an illusion. We’re here to train up so we can continue to move forward in all terrain. If you made a mistake or missed something, you’ll be better off for it in the long run, even if the experience doesn’t leave you feeling that way.

Thursday’s Aquarius Moon finishes the night’s Moon-Venus square with a connected square to retro Uranus, a wide t-square. Shake off any jangle you’re feeling and leave it in the dust. The Moon moves to watery Pisces and goes on to square the Sadge Sun, so there’s a fair chance we’ll feel like running away from something. Is something too much? So much so that you want to skip out, at least in your head? The dreary sort of nostalgia may also kick in (“things were more fun when I was a kid, waaaaah”). This is a possible procrastination moment, but it can also turn fairly pro-social. Why not eff around or off if there aren’t any pressing deadlines or responsibilities you’re shaking off? Don’t overdo the party fun or hide in the closet and cry, and you’re golden. Escape can include party fun if you’re willing to be flexible. Be gentle with yourself.

Friday morning through afternoon, the Pisces Moon mood glides along untouched. If your mood suffers, the best way to remedy this is to extend your compassion to others. It could also turn out to feel divine, cushioned, dreamy. With the north node in Pisces and no Virgo in sight, it’s time to use your own Virgo skills to feel your way through to the other side of the fog, even if you’re not sure it will hit. What can you do for someone else? If benefits you both.

Friday afternoon, the Pisces Moon squares Mars and Juno then trines retro, nearly stationing Mercury through the night. In a fog you find a door. Is this a dream? It’s an escape room, and this is your last chance to understand how you’ve been PUSHING all along, and this is a PULL door… ahhhh yes, listen internally and ask the right questions before proceeding, ask them again if you must, in another way.

Do you celebrate American Thanksgiving? (yes, I understand America is the continent, but it’s a colloquial term that reads better than U.S. Thanksgiving) If so, what’s your experience this year? If not, are you aware of the holiday, and how does it look to you from the outside? The Black Friday shopping thing has always made me uncomfortable.
