The new season of Prime Video‘s Fallout will pick up in the aftermath of the first season finale in taking audiences on a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.

After the rookie season finale where Hank MacLean, played by Kyle MacLachlan, escapes amid the battle between the Brotherhood of Steel and Moldaver’s New California Republic raiders, the way is opened for the sci-fi series to get to New Vegas, a popular location in the video game franchise also called Fallout.

Fallout the series adaptation is set 200 years after a nuclear war, and the first season of the sci-fi show followed a trio of survivors: a naive “vault dweller” (Ella Purnell), a warrior member of the Brotherhood of Steel (Aaron Clifton Moten) and an undead Ghoul (Walton Goggins).

For a TV show where colorful characters explore strange new worlds and go down mysterious rabbit holes, the second season first look images released by Prime Video and Kilter Films on Monday predictably reveal a complex, weird and violent universe in New Vegas — a post-war landscape carved out of the ruins of pre-war Las Vegas.

The series set in a post-apocalyptic world also stars Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

Fallout is executive produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy (Westworld) and Athena Wickham, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are executive producers, creators and showrunners.
