The representatives of a nightclub who were duped by a fake ‘Justin Bieber’ have spoken out after the imposter racked up a whopping $10k bar tab.
Knowing Las Vegas, that was probably only three drinks, but still.
Now dubbed ‘Bustin Jieber’, the phoney popstar took to the stage at XS Nightclub at the Wynn in Vegas on Saturday night (August 16).
He managed to successfully dupe the venue, crowd and DJ Gryffin too. Awkward.
Bieber might have surprised fans with new music recently, but his live performances have been few and far between, so it caught people by surprise when ‘Justin’ appeared for the impromptu performance.
DJ Gryffin has shared his embarrassment at falling for the trickster, confessing that the ‘dark venue and loud music didn’t help’.

He explained how it happened: “So his ‘team’ said he wanted to perform ‘Sorry’… little did I know I was about to be sorry,” the DJ wrote after the fraud.
“After 4 minutes and 27 second of what sounded like Justin Bieber, I found out the worst news imaginable.”
Upon being told the performer was a fake, Gryffin’s jaw drops as he exclaims: “No way!” later adding, “I literally thought, he put on a lot of weight since the album dropped.”
A statement has been released on behalf of the venue following the imposter’s antics.
Wynn spokesman Michael Weaver said: “After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage.
“As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.”
‘Future’ in this instance means ‘forever’, they finished. Whoops.
The imposter has been named as Dylan Desclos online, and he has many of the same tattoos as Justin Bieber, as well as his buzzcut hairstyle.
According to Neon, Desclos did pay for the $10k bar tab before he was escorted from the premises.
Earlier footage shows the fake walking around and posing for selfies with people.
Fans have blasted him online: “To get the EXACT same tattoos as Justin Bieber and come to a nightclub…is psychotic”
His Instagram account has now disappeared, but prior to that fans remarked it was ‘alarming how easily he was able to prank everyone’.
However, others were pleased the club and DJ got ‘just as played’ as they did.
“Bustin Jeiber looked a whole vibe though,” one joked.
“I just love that this guy had a team!” added another.
“Handled with class and grace” praised one fan of the duped DJ.
It looks like ‘Jieber’ won’t be welcomed back there any time soon.
