Hi Elsa,
One of my brood watching her biological clock and looking to get pregnant asap! Any astro tips?
Bless,
Siobhán
Hi, Siobhán.
My information on this is limited. Bottom line, God decides, but I can tell you what I’ve observed over the years.
It’s very common to have a baby when Jupiter transits the 4th house. It’s an addition or expansion to the family. It follows that Jupiter aspecting the moon is also very favorable. It does not have to be the mother’s chart showing this, though her womb, clearly expands. The father sees his family grow as do the siblings, if there are any.
Now I am using Equal houses. Any time Jupiter transits a Cardinal house (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th), it aspects the 4th house. So this is another indication.
This is non-traditional, but observed. Saturn transiting the 4th or a Cardinal house is another possibility. You can see this as karmic and also, pregnancy matures a person. Saturn transiting the moon, too. Uh oh! I’m getting old! Better have a baby! Baby clock, as you say. In whatever case, it’s common to have a baby, with Saturn transiting a Cardinal house as it should ground a person, mature a person, solidify a marriage etc.
Saturn transiting the sun in another indication, particularly in the father’s chart. He is not a father… then he is. Matures a man, but this is also true of a woman.
As for timing, I would look at transiting Mars and Mercury and possibly the moon. Mars is the sperm; Mercury is the timing. The moon is the womb. Any combination of these bodies, could mark the point of pregnancy.
Other people may have ideas… oh! And Jupiter transiting your 4th, would also be favorable!
I wish your daughter the best of luck!
