It’s well understood, pain and loss are part and parcel of a Pluto transit. I’ve had transiting Pluto conjoin and square my sun. I’ve also had it conjoin and square my moon. I have had it square my Venus, conjoin and square my Mercury and my Mars. I’ve also had it cross my midheaven and my ascendant. Thankfully, I understood what these transits were about, when I was very young. I was asked to explain this. I’m going to keep this simple and clean.
As a human being, you don’t know that much about yourself. You think you do, but you’re wrong. We’re all super complicated. We all have strengths and weaknesses and talents, we know nothing about. We also had shadow characteristics. These are things we leave out of our press kits.
Various transits come along, and teach us who we really are. What we’re capable of, for good or ill.
I have a lot of depth and power. I did not grow up, knowing this. I was the little sister and insanely abused.
I did know I was intelligent and I had a lot of ideas. I found pretty much everyone, curiously slow. I was annoyed trying to match their pace and fit in. I’m talking about things as mundane as the pace I was supposed to walk at. What do you mean, hold on to this rope and file into first grade with the other kids? What kind of fresh hell is that?
Can you see how cerebral this is? I was essentially a Libra Mars Mercury brain, with no connection to anything, really. For all I knew, surface rage at “the other” was my personality. I was entirely undeveloped.
Luckily, life, God, or the universe, or however you may see it, pressures us learn and grow. When you whine about a transit, you’re resisting this, but it doesn’t matter. The transits coming, anyway. “But I don’t want pain!”
As you read that, you must see how silly it is. Life is full of pain. Pain of menstruation! How’s that for a clue?
Pluto transits take you deep into your un-comfort zone. The best example I can think of: parents who say, “I could never bear the loss of my child.” Really? You’ve never thought about all the people who have lost children; maybe even lost all their children? To illness, violence, cults, war?
Now I’m sorry, but a person who says this is living on the surface of life. Like your kid dies and you have a choice? Your other kid is right there looking at you! Are you going to clutch it up, or what?
On one level, Pluto transits rid a person of this kind of stupidity, but how?
One reason a person says something like this is because they do not know their own soul. They do not know the depth of their power and their ability to endure. What else don’t they know? Give them a Pluto transit and let’s find out.
Common story – you may become involved with a person is horrible for you. Fast or slow, they’re killing you. You can feel yourself, dying, you’re so weak.
This lays you out on the floor. In my case, I’ve wound up in the hospital, more than once, but you’re weak, right? You’re weak so you can’t get out. The longer you stay, the more you suffer.
You may need the qualities you omitted from your press kit! The fact you can rise up and kill a man, is not feature on your, Insta! Or maybe you just don’t know.
What happens, is Pluto takes you to the edge and it will hold your ass there until and unless you snap out of it. You’ve got to go deeper. You’ve got to dig down, and access your true power and stamina. Once you do, you transform.
This does not mean, you find your inner core and waltz out of there, but you may. More likely, you’ll crawl out of the rubble. Or you may have do things that are repugnant to you. You said you never would, but…things change.
I’ll leave you with this: my husband explained to me, a person will always fight for their life. You want to understand this, because if you’re going to fight anyway, you may as well do it, while you have a chance to prevail! Like in a home invasion. Fight before someone is on top of you, with a knife in their hand, fixing to plunge!
See what I mean, about doing something repugnant to you? You think I want to shoot someone? Of course not! I have Libra for Godsakes and I hate the sight of blood. However, I have determined, I’m not good with being raped, tortured and killed, never mind standing by and allowing someone do this to one of my children, so guess what? My 8th house knocks Libra aside. Bang bang, bad guy. My family and I survive.
Now I’m sorry that’s graphic but I say it that way on purpose, so you hear me. Pluto transits will kill you, if you don’t or it you won’t, rid yourself of the superficial, to access your internal power, which believe me, is there.
It will also give you to access all kinds of other gifts. For example, I can heal! I’m pretty much, Wolverine. So compare that to that little girl holding the rope that would like scream at the top of her lungs at how long it takes to walk into a freakin’ building.
If you want to develop, beyond your veneer, take the Pluto transit. Find out who you are and what life and living really mean to you. Aren’t you curious?
