I’ve been a consulting astrologer for a very long time. Things change as year pass.
I always think of a Gemini astrologer friend who gave up consulting nearly 25 years, because it became to “intense”. She did not see the trend reverting so she took an offramp. She simply preferred the lighter weight readings that were offered in the 80’s and 90’s. She said it was too “dark” for year. She was a really brilliant woman and hey! She’d know.
When someone wants me to compare charts, today, they’re generally more pragmatic about love, than they’ve been in the past. They’re more realistic and I think it’s healthy. Rather than ask, “Is this my soulmate, they want to know if a relationship is possible or feasible. “Can this work?”
This is a good approach. I’m able to give the client a clear idea of what they’ll be dealing with, in living with and loving the person in question.
I will also tell them what the other person will be dealing with, living and loving them.
I’m talking about the things that are hard-wired in both charts, as well as what will crop up between them. If they want to go further, I can offers ideas how to deal with this or that. At this point, I’ve pretty much seen it all and than means, I’ve seen it done well and I’ve seen it done poorly, so I’ve got all the angles.
For all the ways people feel society is failing at this time, this is one area where things are stabilizing and improving. I’m talking about the population who wants to partner. There’s a lot of you out there. I don’t think you should give up.
But then trend is positive, in that people are not just scrutinizing the other, but considering the challenge they bring to a relationship. I continue to feel life is quite hard, but easier if you don’t have to go it alone.
