Will Smith has announced a huge UK tour to celebrate the release of his first album in over 20 years.
Music to millennials’ ears, the Fresh Prince star will perform at some of the nation’s biggest venues, from Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre to the O2 Academy Brixton in London and the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
The UK tour will kick off this summertime (sorry), to coincide with the release of his new album Based On A True Story which drops on March 28. The 14-track album will reportedly feature previously released singles including First Love and Beautiful Scars.

Don’t panic, the live shows will also treat fans to some of the singer’s old-school bops, such as Jiggy Wit It, Miami, and Summertime.
Announcing the news of his tour on Instagram, Smith wrote: “I’M GOING ON TOUR THIS SUMMER!! We’re hitting up UK & Europe to bring U all the hits, some new joints, and a few surprises. All these years, I’ve NEVER done a headline tour and I can’t wait to see you guys!!”

Presale for Will Smith’s UK tour kicks off at 10am on Wednesday, March 19. O2 customers can access the sale via the app or website. If you’re not with the mobile provider, you can sign up for artist presale via the official Will Smith website.
If you don’t manage to beat the queue, tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, March 21 via Ticketmaster, AXS, and See Tickets. For resale tickets, you’ll want to check out Viagogo and StubHub. Just remember to be careful when purchasing resale tickets online. Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed.
