Download is one of the UK’s biggest rock festivals, and it’s fair to say this year’s lineup has fans pretty excited.
Every summer, thousands of Brits flock to the fields of Donnington Park in Leicestershire for a weekend of music at the iconic outdoor venue.
This year looks to be a good one too, as Download has teased some of the festival’s headline acts, with big names including the Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, McFly, The Darkness, Fall Out Boy, and Green Day taking to the stage.

If you’re keen to get your hands on tickets, then you need to move fast, and your first point of call should be Ticketmaster. If you’re after the full experience, a five-night pass starts from £345 and £172.50 for kids. For those of you hoping to get a proper night’s kip, there’s the option to choose ‘quiet’ camping.
You can also book ‘eco’ camping for the same prices. Essentially, this is a dedicated campsite area designed for fans who want to prioritise sustainability during their stay, from recycling waste to cutting down on single-waste plastic. For those of you who don’t want to camp (I don’t blame you), access to the festival for the entire weekend will cost £290 per person.
If you don’t have any luck on Ticketmaster, don’t panic. You can also head over to See Tickets now to buy tickets. As for resale, you want to check out Viagogo and Stubhub, where tickets start from £360.

There are some huge names taking to the stage this year with more acts to be announced shortly. We’re talking about the likes of Green Day, Sleep Token, Jimmy Eat World, Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, Weezer, The Darkness, and McFly.
New names announced this week include Shinedown, Rise Against, Myles Kennedy, Opeth, AWOLNATION, and Power Trip. You can head over to the official website now for the full lineup as it drops.
And there was a surprise addition in the form of PRESIDENT, described by Rock Sound as ‘mysterious newcomers’, to this year’s line-up.
You’ll need to block out 13 to 15 June to attend the festival this year. As per previous years, the event will take place at Donnington Park in Leicestershire.
