“Unlock Hidden Potential: How This Week’s Aquarius New Moon and Retro Jupiter Will Transform Your Future!”

Added on January 26, 2025 inASTROLOGY CARDS

This week promises to be one wild ride, folks! We’re diving deep into the cosmic waters as Pisces Venus cozies up to Neptune, while simultaneously throwing in a trine to Scorpio Juno. It’s like a celestial cocktail party where everyone’s forgotten why they even came! Have you ever caught yourself craving something you can’t quite put your finger on? That’s exactly where we’re headed. Our desires might feel like they’re on a secret mission, hiding in plain sight, leading us to question—what do we truly want? And let’s not even get started on retrograde Mars in Cancer bringing its own flavor of drama by stepping in a nasty square with Chiron in Aries. Hang on tight; there’s more intensity on the horizon as Mercury joins the fray in Aquarius!

So, what if suffering could actually lead to some kind of epiphany about what we want? It sounds silly, I know—but it’s more than just “dumb” suffering, folks. There’s growth to be found here. This is the week to explore what’s sucking the joy out of life, while savoring those pleasure vacations along the way. With the new moon in Aquarius fast approaching, you’re invited to brainstorm and bounce ideas like a kangaroo on a trampoline. The message today: take action, unearth those hidden gems of desire, and decide what comes next. Because, let’s face it, we could all use a cosmic kick in the pants sometimes! If you’re ready to ride the cosmic wave and see where it takes you, buckle up and let it roll!

LEARN MORE

moon-sunAll week, Pisces Venus moves closer to conjunction with sign-ruler Neptune, and on its way it forms a trine to Scorpio Juno, exact on Thursday. That creates a sort of a blind spot, and a hunger for intensity. Sort of because it’s an illusion rather than a deficit. Maybe you don’t remember what you truly enjoy and desire. MAYBE you don’t remember all the genuinely valuable traits and resources you own, and what they mean to you.

It’s not so much that we’re prone to forgetting; they’re camouflaged. Something may take precedence, or other issues block our view. In addition, retrograde Mars in Cancer moves in square to Chiron in Mars-ruled Aries all week, so suffering may upstage what would normally be a pleasant and poignant period. Mars-Chiron suffering is not “dumb” suffering though, not inherently. With Mars in the Moon’s sign and Chiron in action, these cardinal placements vie for control.

Venus-Neptune is divine pleasure, living the dream. It can also be tuning out on intoxicants. It’s that sweet-sweet anticipation and craving that in itself can be pleasurable if not taken to extremes. This combination does not fair well when self control is avoided.

Now add in Mercury moving to Aquarius on Monday to conjoin Pluto (exact late Tuesday), and the mind, senses, and communications are having their own intense spot-fire. Take the time to identify where your hot-spots are. If things are tough, maybe they have to be tough; but you don’t have to suffer. I mean, maybe you will, but it’s not a given. You could learn from it, or get to work on learning from it. Action is favored, whatever the initial thrust.

Ideally, you use some of that Venus-Neptune as an anesthetic, a buffer — and you prioritize feeling the thing, figuring out what it needs, then learning how to do it. Decisiveness is crucial. You can pick one then the other, but pick. Mercury-Pluto brings a lot of power to the figuring out part. Don’t waste too much time prioritizing. Make your list then pick what comes next and stick with it. Plan to take some Venus-Neptune pleasure vacations in between. Figure out what sucks, then do something about it. In the end, that’s training. We’ll be better people for it.

Suffering has a purpose: figuring out what sucks and giving us a reason to fix it.

This week is touched by a powerful voice (Mercury-Pluto) and beauty that bridges all dimensions (Venus-Neptune). Wednesday’s new moon in Aquarius applies into trine with retrograde Jupiter in Mercury-ruled Gemini. The Aquarius Sun perfects its trine to Jupiter on Thursday as sign-ruler Uranus stations direct and Mercury hits the midpoint of the Sun and Pluto. GIANT goals are broadcast and internalized. Goalssss, with an S. Goals in response to goals. Think bigger, think outside the norm. Venus trines Juno, and the passion is THERE.

Monday’s Capricorn Moon sextiles Pisces Saturn. It squares Chiron, opposes retro Mars, then trines (slow) retro Uranus. Begin slowly, controlled and braced for work — good work. It feels good to work! Yes, we then hit a cardinal t-square, but whatever discomfort presents is ameliorated by the excitement of all we’re getting through and past. Tangible upgrades are immanent!

Overnight, the Cap Moon sextiles Venus then sextiles Neptune by Tuesday morning. Sweet dreams rule, and they’re good for your body. The Moon moves into Aquarius and rolls over Mercury then Pluto and spends the rest of the day closing space on the new moon. All the best brainstorming takes place in the dark of this Moon, so let your mind wander where it’s drawn (the tail end of a dream?). An open mind can do a lot of work, so let go of that fear of slacking for now. Let it wander on purpose.

Early Wednesday, the Aquarius Moon conjoins the Sun for this new moon fresh start. The Moon goes on to trine retro Jupiter and sextile Chiron. It’s time to bounce your ideas off the world and put what you’ve learned into words and action.

On Thursday, Aquarius-ruler Uranus stations in Taurus, and the Aquarius Moon squares Uranus then Juno, a wide t-square. Change is uncomfortable. Try to keep in mind the difference between discomfort and suffering. A person could get caught feeling sorry for oneself at this point, but don’t do it! That leads to suffering and self-undoing. Look for the beauty behind the feeling, what improvement could lead to. Commit to embracing change to align with improvements. Afternoon takes the Moon into Pisces, and the Sun perfects its trine to retro Jupiter. Dream BIG.

Friday’s Pisces Moon squares retro Jupiter then goes on to conjoin Saturn. Stop and go, hurry up and slow down… the mood can actually handle this pretty well by now. We’re primed to occupy our spaces with sweet distractions. By the end of the night, the Moon trines retro Mars in Cancer, and giving in to what the body wants is the ultimate satisfaction.

With all this talk of suffering, will you suffer this week? Perhaps not! But someone will. Compassion is another marker of Venus-Neptune and the new moon in Aquarius is perfumed with its complexity. The new moon takes place at 9 degrees Aquarius. Where does that hit your chart?
