Monday morning starts out with the Moon at the very end of Pisces, then it heads into Aries in sextile to Pluto and Venus in Aquarius. From there, the Aries Moon trines sign-ruler Mars (retro in Leo) and Sagittarius Mercury (also retro), a momentary grand trine that highlights the tightening trine from retro Mercury to retro Mars.
The mood is sleepy till it blasts its way out of the water. It won’t take long to find your footing. It’s like being shot out of a cannon; you just have to hit the ground running. The motivation is there, and so is the ability to rally the troops. If you need help, ask. If you’re not sure where to start, look for unfinished business.
The Sagittarius Sun trines retro Chiron in Aries, exact on Tuesday, so don’t be afraid to give things another shot. We learn from our mistakes, but second part of that learning is hands on application, the “try, try again” part.
Tuesday morning’s Aries Moon sextiles retro Jupiter in Gemini, so it’s another day of airy motivation. Build on your successes! After the Sun perfects its trine to retro Chiron, the Moon rolls over Chiron and trines the Sun. Who did all that? YOU did! If for some reason it didn’t go your way, grab that growth anyway. Trying absolutely matters. It’s the only true way to build (or rebuild) self esteem. Give yourself some credit.
On Wednesday morning, the Moon finishes up in Aries, and retro Mercury picks up a sextile to Venus in Aquarius (exact early Friday). The Moon moves to Venus-ruled Taurus, squares Pluto, then forms a t-square with the Venus, retro Mars opposition (exact early Thursday). While Monday and Tuesday are on the go, glean what you can about what works and what makes sense. Look for clues and an unexpected offer. Wednesday’s mood is set to test connections and values.
Two sides of the same coin still make a coin. You don’t get the whole coin without some sweat or tears. Perspective is what makes the difference. Frustration is not the end of the world, and if it is — you’ve got bigger problems. So what’s your coin? I’ll bet that stick in your spokes is here to help you figure that out. Venus opposite Mars is classic relationship stuff, but it’s also love or money versus effort. Throw in the signs (Aquarius and Leo) and it’s self versus other, the self and the group. Can you be yourself in your group of friends? What are you doing to please the group? There are myriad ways to find meaning here. The important thing is to allow yourself to rethink where you’re placing value if it’s not working for you.
Thursday’s Taurus Moon opposes Scorpio Juno in the morning and conjoins retro Uranus in the night. Passion is motivating. The day’s general mood has us continuing to ponder the why. Expect an AHA by bedtime, and leverage it into sweet dreams by night (with a sextile to Pisces Neptune that lasts through the morning).
On Friday, the Taurus Moon finishes its sextile to Neptune then heads into Mercury-ruled Gemini. By afternoon, it sextiles retro Mars then goes on to oppose retro Mercury and trine Venus by nighttime. Write down your dreams first thing, if you remember them. If not, rest assured they’re tucked neatly into a fold in your gray matter. The rest of the day looks like a wild goose chase where you actually might catch the goose! Maybe two!
This week I have two observations or suggestions. One, consider whether you’re walking away or walking toward something right now. Second, consider the yin and yang within yourself. Yin is where you receive, take in, assimilate, and mirror. Yang is what you do with it. We all have both.
