The powerhouse singer tried her hand at podcasting with Travis Kelce for the first time and, coincidentally, broke a world record while doing so.

Taylor Swift appeared on the New Heights podcast with her boyfriend and his brother, Jason Kelce, on August 13, where she also unveiled her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

The star has now earned the largest concurrent audience in YouTube’s history, pulling in 1.3 million viewers during her discussion with the Kelce brothers.

Swift gave a closer glimpse into her life during the podcast appearance, including her ongoing blossoming relationship with football, pursuing her master’s degree again, and sharing bits of her romantic life with Kelce.

The episode itself has now garnered 20 million views on YouTube in less than two weeks since its release, adding to Swift’s impressive catalogue of achievements. Her last album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” gained fame as the most-streamed album on Spotify in its first day.

According to TMZ, the album also became the most-streamed LP in a 24-hour window, with 313.7 million streams on the music streaming platform.

Swift and the NFL superstar were very much head over heels in love while they sat behind their mics on the podcast. The Blast shared that viewers and fans recorded many highlights, including Swift boldly referring to Kelce as her “boyfriend.”

According to body language expert and analyst Inbaal Honigman, the statement was a deliberate declaration from Swift, who has kept most of her relationship with Kelce private.

Honigman noted that Kelce was also pleasantly surprised at the development as he curiously raised his brow while Swift glanced down at her feet, very aware of the effect of the word she just used.

Swift and Kelce’s exchange of laughter and loving looks throughout the podcast was all the proof Honigman needed to know what they have is genuine.

The lovebirds’ story takes center stage in a new six-part ESPN series, “The Kingdom.” According to Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, viewers will see a different side to the couple’s story.

Hunt shared that it was blissful to hear Swift reveal her experience of attending the boys’ games for the first time. “There were definitely some elements of that where there were some new things that we learned,” the owner said.

Swift first attended the game nearly two years ago, on September 23, 2023, when she watched the Chiefs play the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. She sat in the VIP suite alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna, and the rest of their friends as they watched Kelce’s team take down the Bears in a 41-10 game.

Later that year, the duo publicly launched their relationship by attending a New York SNL afterparty, holding hands. They have since gone Instagram official and red-carpet official in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

The talented singer is not about to let the project she hyped on her boyfriend’s podcast leak, so as of now, close sources have shared that only five people have been given access to the body of work.

Swift reportedly carefully observed and vetted everyone involved in the production, one way or the other. The star also only agreed to work with those people if they could promise to keep the album under wraps and no leaks.

It has, however, been a challenge to achieve this, as she recorded the album in Sweden rather than in her home studio, but everything is still going according to plan.

The insider noted that Kelce, her publicist Tree Paine, producers Max Martin and Shellback, alongside an anonymous studio engineer, are the only ones with access to the album besides herself.

The singer’s boyfriend was a great sport on the podcast when she announced her new album amid confetti and cheers from the NFL champ. He emphasized that the album contained hits, proof that he was deeply involved in the process.

Insiders shared that Swift culled a few inspirations from their romantic journey so far to record some tracks on her 12th studio album. She also reportedly discussed how she overcame her drama with Blake Lively.

She also trashed reports of the relationship being a PR stunt in her own way, as the source added, “It is absolutely inspired by Travis. Being loved by him has really helped her overcome some dark chapters in her life.”

Swift has also reportedly shot two music videos for two tracks on the album, prompting her fans to go on a rampage for answers in their famous “Easter Egg” analogy.
