Mowry-Housley is the latest celebrity to speak out about Kirk, who was shot and killed during a speaking event at Utah Valley University earlier this week.

Kirk, who built a massive following online with his controversial takes on hot-button issues like women’s rights, marriage, and DEI, had many detractors—most of whom have been openly apathetic about his death.

Mowry-Housley had a word for them, however, sharing a post to her Instagram Stories that blasted anyone “celebrating” Kirk’s death as “demonic.”

The post did not garner the reaction she had likely hoped for. Instead, users on various social media platforms began clapping back, sparking even more controversy.

On Instagram, one user fired back at Mowry-Housley, telling the “Sister, Sister” actress that they weren’t “celebrating” Kirk’s murder.

“We just don’t give a f-ck,” they added.

Another user echoed that sentiment and also mentioned Kirk’s past comments on “empathy.”

“He said that he hated empathy, so why should we have any on him? He said awful things about Black people, but somehow we are supposed to have compassion. I’m indifferent,” the user continued.

“No one is celebrating,” another commenter shared. “People just aren’t extending a hand of compassion for a man they know good and well wouldn’t do it for them if the roles were reversed.”

And Mowry-Housley isn’t the only Hollywood performer condemning those with a similar mindset. In a new video of her own, “Clueless” actor Stacey Dash shared a passionate message and asked the public to consider how such reactions could impact Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, and their two children.

“What’s wrong with you? That you can celebrate someone’s death. You don’t like hearing the truth, so you celebrate their death?” she said. “What is going on? I’ll tell you what, that is the state of our country and our world. The devil is dancing right now, and you’re celebrating right along with him. So God help you.”

Users reacted to her message similarly to Mowry-Housley, with one commenting, “Girl, you’ve been CLUELESS… next.”

Offering a completely different perspective, country singer Gavin Adcock also spoke on Kirk’s passing, leading an audience at his most recent concert in “Charlie Kirk” chants while waving an American flag.

“Jesus loves every single one of you in this place tonight. Charlie Kirk’s with Jesus. I want ya’ll to say some thoughts and prayers tonight before you go to sleep. When you lay down by yourself or by your loved one, say some prayers for somebody that needs it. I appreciate every single one of ya’ll. I hope you have a safe trip home,” he said into the microphone.

Adcock also shared a message on Instagram, saying Kirk’s voice was “not silenced” despite his murder.

“His voice is now stronger than ever and will make an impact for centuries. There is not a thing in the world you can say to make this better, but my thoughts and prayers go out to every single person that is hurting from this horrible tragedy,” he said.

The singer then finished the post with a verse from the book of Psalms, writing, “You who love the LORD, hate evil! Hate protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.”
