Actress Sydney Sweeney and singer Halsey are facing new criticism over a bikini ad that is making the rounds following the “Euphoria” star’s controversial jeans ad.
The American Eagle brand chose the actress to be the star of their “great jeans” campaign, but some felt that the slogan was poking fun at “great genes” amid allegations of eugenics and white supremacy.

In a throwback bikini ad, Sydney posed beside Halsey as she tugged on the narrow strip of fabric that covered her chest. The swimsuit did not leave much to the imagination, showing off many of Halsey’s tattoos. Although some ad loved the “stunning” ad, others were not a fan and called it “disgusting.”
