Evidence Found At Home Raises Fears Of Possible Abduction In Search For Nancy Guthrie

Investigators say evidence discovered at the Arizona home of Savannah’s 84-year-old mother has raised serious concerns about her safety.

According to the New York Post, blood was found inside the residence along with signs of forced entry, prompting authorities to investigate “a possible kidnapping or abduction.” Officials have not confirmed whose blood was recovered.

Nancy was reported missing on Sunday after failing to attend church services. She had returned home from dinner the night before and was last seen that evening.

Authorities say Nancy’s car and cellphone were left behind at the scene. Investigators hope data from the phone may help establish a clearer timeline.

Police have also announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and are asking the public to share any relevant images, videos, or tips.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos made a direct appeal to anyone involved. “Just call us. Let her go. Just call us. The family will tell you, there’s no questions asked here,” Nanos told NBC News. “We don’t need another bad, tragic ending.”

Officials also noted that Nancy has limited mobility and is unable to walk more than 50 yards on her own and requires daily medication, making the situation especially urgent.

They warned that going without the medication for an extended period could be life-threatening. “We’re doing all we can to try to locate her,” Nanos said. “Every tool we have, we will use.”
