Hot off the heels of supporting Oasis, Richard Ashcroft has announced a very special show at Ludlow Castle next year (tickets available to buy via Eventim from 10am on Friday, October 3).

The Verve frontman will be headlining at the castle as part of a special series of concerts, after thanking fans for ‘a legendary summer’.

Previous artists to play there include Elbow, Olly Murs, Jess Glynne and Supergrass, and it has a capacity for 6,000 keen fans.

The Bitter Sweet Symphony star will headline on July 25, and supporters of his are desperate to get their hands on tickets. A support act hasn’t yet been announced.

It comes as he has also announced a much bigger gig at London’s Alexandra Palace Park, as well as a run of arena shows, so this is the chance for a much more intimate performance.

There has been a presale for local residents taking place, but general sale is Friday, October 3 at 10am on Eventim.

If you don’t manage to bag any for this intimate show, tickets are also going on sale for his massive Alexandra Palace Park date, which will be available from 9.30am via Ticketmaster.

That concert is taking place on Friday, July 17, 2026.
