“Prepare for Cosmic Confrontations: Unraveling the Secrets of Mercury-Pluto and the Fiery Sun-Mars Alignment!”

Added on March 2, 2025 inASTROLOGY CARDS

We’re cruising into a thrilling time, folks—did you feel that? The air is electric as we enter the shadow of the upcoming Mercury retrograde, starting March 14 or 15, depending on your time zone. This week, Mercury flits into Aries, embracing a comical connection to Pluto in Aquarius, like an awkward speed date at the cosmic café. With Mercury hot on the heels of retrograde Venus, we’re setting the stage for some serious introspection.

Quick question: Have you ever tried to change a flat tire while a storm was brewing? That’s kind of the vibe we’re facing—there’s urgency, but that doesn’t mean we should rush into anything blindfolded! While those celestial influences may tempt us to think fast and act faster, it’s vital to take a beat and assess the terrain ahead. With love, money, and resources treading in the balance, are we the puppets or the puppeteers in this cosmic dance? As we navigate through these planetary potholes, let’s unlock that mystical roadmap of clarity and intention.

Ready to explore how the stars will guide us this week? Buckle up! Want more insight? LEARN MORE

tracks path roadWe’re currently in the shadow of the upcoming Mercury retrograde period (starting March 14 or 15 depending on your time zone). Mercury moves to Aries overnight, Sunday to Monday, directly into applying sextile to Pluto in Aquarius. It also starts heading towards Aries Venus, as retrograde Aries Venus moves back to meet it.

Next week, direct Mercury will roll over retrograde Venus, just a few days before Mercury goes retro. Mercury will chase Venus into Pisces but will go direct without an exact conjunction, and the two won’t conjoin again till November (in Scorpio).

SO, what that means for this week is we can make active use of this relatively short time period to prepare, to marshal our details, communications, and perceptions to improve our chances for success. There’s an opportunity to influence and control the narrative to manipulate both the perception and implementation of power. Money, love, and resources are on the line. For a time, we’ll be motivated to think and communicate quickly and off the cuff, but that’s not necessarily going to be in our best interest.

Are you manipulating, or are you being manipulated? We don’t have to assume ill intent, but we should not rush to judgement — or dismiss subconscious clues that arise in the form of doubts. Pay attention, especially if you’re spending money or pledging resources. You won’t be inclined to read the fine print, but it’s even more important now that you do.

Aries Mercury perfects its sextile to Pluto Wednesday morning. Aries ruler Mars in Cancer continues its square to Aries Chiron as well as its trine to Pisces Saturn, so there’s support to stay the course and commit to action while learning on the fly. The Pisces Sun trines Mars all week as well, exact Friday night. Their watery trine enhances Mars’ slow forward movement as we go from floating to paddling… in the right direction. What a miracle to pick back up, right on course!

If you’re hurting yourself or feeling sorry for yourself, stop it. Don’t make yourself your own worst enemy. Sometimes we do that because it hurts less than just doing what needs to be done. Embrace working in your own favor. Learn to do better — for you!

Monday’s Venus-ruled Taurus Moon squares Pluto early on, then goes on to sextile the Sun through the night. Lay in your course; innovate even if it interrupts the status quo, especially if it does. For Mercury-Pluto is an excellent opportunity to mirror the mood and experiment with a plan for positive change. An intuitive path will emerge.

On Tuesday, the Taurus Moon sextiles Mars and Saturn then conjoins Uranus before going on to sextile Pisces Neptune overnight. Take time to appreciate where you’re starting from and all the goodies you have already acquired. We want to improve and enhance, even if that means slow growth over time. Perhaps we can take a chance in striking while the iron is hot… but knowing it’s a slow burn. Have faith that doing the right thing is for the best. Just do it — a bit at a time.

Wednesday, the Taurus Moon finishes its sextile to Neptune (dreamy, waking into a smile) and heads into Mercury-ruled Gemini. That Gemini Moon sextiles Mercury and trines Pluto, highlighting their exact sextile. Expect things to POP immediately; but if they don’t, pop up first and get after the investigation. The Moon goes on to sextile Venus and then conjoin Gemini Jupiter overnight. It’s not just a feel-good moment but a chance to enhance your arsenal of strategies for feeling good in general.

Thursday’s Gemini Moon squares the Sun, sextiles Chiron, then squares Saturn. It’s a lot. Coming off that Moon-Jupiter conjunction, our options are multiplying and can momentarily overwhelm the ability to fold them into a single plan. If the gears grind to a halt, just take a moment to breath and connect to the flow, then take the next step when it presents (in time). Whether or not you feel in control, you’re learning how to get there.

On Friday, the late Gemini Moon squares Neptune then heads into Moon-ruled Cancer. The Cancer Moon squares Mercury by afternoon. The mood is flexible, but may lend an air of distracted flightiness or irritation. Cancer Mars presents the ideal answer: Go where you’re drawn, do what needs done. Stay light, but go zen. By nighttime, the Sun perfects its trine to Mars and the Moon squares Venus through the night. Go with the flow, and look for the good kind of friction. If what you feel keeps you from getting what you want, find some other nice thing to follow for now.

How are you feeling? How are you feeling about where you’re heading?
