“Police in Fayetteville say a person was killed in a shooting on Sunday morning at a condo community off Cliffdale Road.
The shooting was reported just after 10:20 a.m. along the 600 block of Barton’s Landing Place, according to a Fayetteville Police Department news release.
When officers arrived, they found a person with “multiple gunshots to the upper torso,” police said. Barton’s Landing is described as a gated community.
EMS units arrived and took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, the victim died at the hospital, police said.
