Miley Cyrus proved popular with her W Magazine shoot last year, showing off a stylish and very sheer top as she shared her shoot on Instagram. The 31-year-old made headlines in June 2024 for debuting her new auburn locks, although her shoot also turned heads for a series of stylish outfits. Alongside modeling a navy blue playsuit for her cover, Miley braved a chest flash in a cut-out, mesh bodysuit, showing off her bare chest beneath as she went braless. The photo, shared on W Magazine‘s Instagram, gained over 40,000 likes, however Miley’s main cover post netted her over 300,000.

Going totally sheer while freeing the nipple, the “Something Beautiful” hitmaker placed her hands on her shoulders, drawing the eye from her cleavage to her taut abs while flashing her toned waist. Miley rocked fun cut-outs further accentuating her torso, completing her look with a leather skirt and statement belt.

Gazing to the side as she parted her lips a little, Miley sported her chic red locks down with slight bangs framing her face. The former Disney star also showcased some of her many tattoos. For her cover, Miley donned a fun Gucci playsuit, honoring her long-term partnership with the Italian designer. Further looks included brands including Chanel, The Row, Ralph Lauren Collection, and Louis Vuitton. In a caption marking her cover, Miley posted jointly with W Magazine, writing:

“Introducing W’s Pop Issue starring @mileycyrus. ‘Something I wanted to talk about is celebration versus competition,” the Grammy winner says, “Because competition is really of no interest to me. I don’t think of other artists as opponents. Artists are not the same as athletes, playing a zero-sum game and keeping a score. There isn’t a score in art.'”

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus’ interview revealed her close relationship with singer Beyonce, plus why the star has decided to rename her Happy Hippie non-profit. “But now I am renaming it the Miley Cyrus Foundation so the platform can facilitate more adult conversations,” she stated.
