Michael Mosley’s final TV show has begun to air after his tragic death in Greece last year.
The final show the presenter filmed before his death was about Superagers, unveiling the truth behind how to extend your life.
Mosley’s death followed a four-day search for the TV presenter after he went missing on the Greek island of Symi on June 5, 2024.
Just days later, his wife, Dr Clare Bailey Mosley, confirmed that his body had been found. She called his death ‘devastating’ in a tribute, going on to say: “We had an incredibly lucky life together… We loved each other very much and were so happy together.”
His passing at 67 came as a shock to many, with tributes flooding in about the health, medicine, and diet TV presenter.

Mosley had become famous in part for his role in popularising dieting trends such as intermittent fasting – specifically the 5:2 diet – and for being the frontman of various health-based documentaries.
He graduated from university with a degree in medicine, but decided instead to work in TV, using his expertise to explain medical science and health to the masses.
The presenter, who used to appear on This Morning, went missing in June of 2024 after going for a walk whilst on holiday, sparking a multi-day, high-profile search.
He had decided to walk home rather than taking the ferry and was described as looking ‘energetic and cheerful’ by those who last saw him.
He collapsed on the same day he set off on his walk, sadly dying in a rocky area near the Agia Marina beach.

Mosley’s cause of death was ruled to be ‘indeterminate’ after a full investigation by a coroner. They found that it was likely either linked to heatstroke or a ‘non-identified pathological cause’.
The coroner went on to say it ‘may have been due to a medical event or as a result of a non-traumatic accident.’
No injuries were found on his body that may have caused his death, and both foul play and suicide were ruled out.
The investigation into his death also solved another mystery that had left people perplexed, as his phone was not found on his body.
The coroner’s report specifically noted the fact that he had deliberately left his phone at the villa to avoid getting it wet on the ferry. This meant that, when a medical incident occurred, he was tragically unable to call for help or be tracked by his loved ones.
