According to a previous report from The Blast, Fanatics Sportsbook excited bettors during the last NBA playoffs after returning over $500,000 in bets thanks to their Fair Play policy.
Key players, including Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Kristaps Porzingis of the Boston Celtics, exited the series due to untimely injuries, prompting Fanatics to readjust odds, resulting in some bettors winning or receiving refunds.
So far, several players have been sidelined due to injury at the start of the 2025 season, such as LeBron James and Josh Hart.
Fanatics also brought the Fair Play fun to the NFL this season, using gymnast and cultural icon Livvy Dunne to share the good news.
“As a disruptor brand, Fanatics Sportsbook is rewriting the category playbook,” said Selena Kalvaria, Fanatics Betting and Gaming CEO. “By leveraging the power of Fanatics and working with a cultural force like Livvy, we’re telling our story in a way that expands our reach with existing betting audiences – and speaks to new ones, too. With Livvy, we have a national champion showing up in unexpected ways to explain what makes Fanatics Sportsbook different, and more rewarding, for sports fans.”

Dunne is one of several big names who have teamed up with Fanatics, alongside Patrick Schwarzenegger and Johnny Manziel, who transforms into “Johnny FanCash” during portions of his “Glory Daze” podcast.
“This season we talk to athletes still in the glory daze, former athletes, and even notable fans,” said Manziel. “Having been through some unforgettable moments myself, I know how important it is to share the real stories behind what fans saw on the field.”
He continued, “We’ve lined up some amazing guests who have those same experiences – career-defining moments that fans still talk about today. This season is all about going deeper into those stories and connecting with the fans who remember these glory days just as vividly as we do. It’s about celebrating the moments that shaped the sports we love.”
