The LS3 (which stands for the Legged Squad Support System) was a DARPA project for a legged robot that could act as a packhorse for soldiers. Basically, it would be able to operate in any weather condition and hold up to 400 pounds.

A German professor discovered the “flic-flac” spider, also known as the cebrennus rechenbergi, while traveling to the Sahara and was fascinated by it.
