Machine Gun Kelly Drops Jaw-Dropping Scoop: Why Megan Fox Went Nuclear Over “Good Dad” Praise for Holding Their Daughter!

Added on August 8, 2025 inMusic News Cards

So, here we are, caught in a cosmic caper where Machine Gun Kelly gets called “such a good dad” for just holding his baby, and Megan Fox? Well, she’s not having it—fuming like a Leo in a Mercury retrograde! You’d think any new parent would relish the applause, but nope, Megan’s giving a full-on “no, no, no” because she’s the real MVP doing the heavy lifting. It’s that classic parental paradox: dads get the pats, moms carry the burden—and let’s be honest, any Cancer moon knows this dance all too well. MGK even jokes he’s just “the music teacher,” strumming his guitar and hoping the baby’s happy—that’s one humble dad right there! Turns out, moms everywhere resonate with Megan’s frustration; the “such a good dad” compliment can feel, well, a bit like getting kudos for wearing shoes inside the house. So, what’s the deal with these parenting props? Are we giving credit where it’s due, or just stuck in old-school clichés? Dive into the drama, the laughs, and the real talk about co-parenting in the spotlight. LEARN MORE.

Machine Gun Kelly: Megan Fox Fuming Over Good Dad Compliment

And while the couple haven’t been romantically involved since November, they still have a strong coparenting relationship.

However, MGK recently revealed that Megan was left less than impressed when somebody complimented his parenting skills for simply holding their baby.

During an appearance on Today with Jenna and Friends on Thursday, the 35-year-old star immediately rebuked the congratulations for his new addition as he gave all credit to his ex.

“It’s awesome,” he said of being a parent to a newborn. “I want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work. I keep getting called ‘The Music Teacher.’”

“Someone the other day was like: ‘You’re such a good dad!’ just because I was holding the baby or something like that,” MGK went on. “And she was fuming, like: ‘No, no, no, no.’ She’s the one. I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy.”

And, perhaps unsurprisingly, other moms quickly revealed that they could relate all too well to this seriously frustrating situation as they shared their own “such a good dad” experiences on a popular Reddit forum.

In addition to Saga, MGK is dad to a 16-year-old daughter, Casie, and Megan is mom to sons Noah, Bodhi, and Journey from previous relationships.
