Added on February 28, 2025 inMusic News Cards

In a twist worthy of a soap opera, Liam Gallagher has spilled the beans on a clandestine rendezvous with his estranged brother Noel at a London hotel, just as they gear up for their much-anticipated Oasis reunion tour in 2025. It’s been a wild ride since the pair’s infamous fallout in 2009, sparked by Noel’s public announcement of leaving the band—an exit drenched in tension and rock ‘n’ roll drama. Who would have guessed that after years of sibling rivalry, including various guitar-swinging incidents, both brothers would one day find common ground? Their recent chat, accompanied by laughter and cuddles (yes, cuddles!), hints at a warmth that fans haven’t seen in years. With a massive reunion tour looming, featuring stops around the UK and Ireland, could this be the dawn of a new era for Oasis fans, or just another fleeting moment in the tumultuous Gallagher saga? Either way, bring on the music! LEARN MORE.

Liam Gallagher has revealed what he and brother Noel got up to after secretly reuniting at a London hotel this week ahead of their 2025 Oasis reunion tour.

The Gallagher brothers buried the hatchet last year after a decade and a half of family feuding, ever since Noel left Oasis in 2009.

He would say in a statement at the time: It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

With reports that Liam had swung a guitar at Noel’s face, it had got to a point where the band couldn’t continue as it was. Thankfully for the brothers themselves and their families – but also fans of rock ‘n’ roll – the Mancunians have put aside their differences.

A huge reunion tour awaits, with dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Dublin to kick things off, before the wider world gets a taste of Oasis for the first time in 16 years.

And ahead of that, the brothers have met up once more in London this past week with Liam’s sons – Lennon, 25, and Gene, 23 – also part of the capital city get-together. Oasis guitarist Bonehead, real name Paul Arthurs, was also there.

It comes after Liam caused headlines this past week after posting to X (formerly Twitter) that the reunion tour would only come with a set list that was under an hour in length. Cue outrage from fans who paid an arm and a leg for tickets.

Thankfully, he returned to the issue, adding: “We’re obviously going to play longer than 59 minutes and 59 seconds you mad heads.

“But how long we don’t know just yet. Ask a silly question and you’ll get a silly answer.”

He said the gig would fall short of the three hours Taylor Swift gig many saw during her worldwide Eras Tour, saying: “Don’t be ridiculous.”

Following on from this, The Sun reported that the Gallaghers this week met up at the Nobu Hotel London Portman Square near Hyde Park.

A source told the paper: “Their relationship is far warmer now and they’re excited to get out on the road.

“Gene and Lennon were both big champions of Oasis getting back together, and have been seen as the peacemakers. Noel arrived at Nobu before Liam and his boys joined him in a private room.”

After the meet up, fans were keen to ask Liam if there was any truth to this. One posted: “Did you meet Noel in London?”

Responding, Liam revealed what they got up to.

“I did,” he said.

“It was lovely, we had a lovely chat and a cuddle.”

Bring on the tour.
