Lauren Sánchez is now officially Lauren Sánchez Bezos, and she didn’t waste a second showing it off after tying the knot with Jeff Bezos.

Following her nuptials, she took to her Instagram page to attach the billionaire mogul’s surname to hers, alongside sharing first looks from the wedding celebration.

In one of her posts, Lauren Sánchez also praised her wedding gown, describing the Dolce & Gabbana outfit as “a piece of poetry.”

She now goes by Lauren Sánchez Bezos on her Instagram page, although it remains unclear whether the Emmy Award-winning journalist has also legally changed her name.

Shortly after the name update, Sánchez shared the first look from the wedding, which appeared to have been held in a garden setting on Venice’s island of San Giorgio Maggiore.

In the photo, the newly married spacefarer could be seen smiling alongside her beau, who had his arm lovingly placed on her lower back.

The couple was also surrounded by standing guests who appeared to be cheering and clapping for them.

For the caption, Sánchez chose to write only her wedding date, “06/07/2025,” along with a heart emoji. Since posting, the image has garnered over 50,000 likes.

Sánchez later followed up the picture with snaps of herself in the wedding dress ahead of exchanging vows with the billionaire mogul.

In one shot, she could be seen standing upright, hands clasped, and fully clothed in the Dolce & Gabbana masterpiece. The outfit featured sheer lace sleeves, a high lace-covered neckline, a mermaid-style silhouette, a corseted button-up bodice, and a short train.

In another shot, the former journalist could be seen being helped into the outfit by her designers.

One more photo featured Domenico Dolce, one-half of fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, adjusting the veil over Sánchez as she stood before lit mirrors.

Alongside the shots, Sánchez added a caption praising the beauty of her wedding outfit.

“Not just a gown, a piece of poetry. Thank you @dolcegabbana for the magic you made,” she wrote.

In the comment section of the post, fans congratulated Sánchez on her nuptials and praised her dress.

“Dress is absolutely stunning,” one wrote, while another commented, “Omg it’s giving. So happy for y’all…Wishing you the best with your husband! Love and happiness.”

More details about the wedding dress were shared in Sánchez’s cover story for Vogue, which was released on the same day as the wedding.

She admitted that it was different from her usual style of dressing, mainly because it was more covered up across the chest.

“It is a departure from what people expect,” she said to the outlet, adding, “from what I expect—but it’s very much me.”

When asked whether Bezos would be surprised by her choice of outfit, Sánchez answered in the affirmative: “Yes. I think he will be pleasantly surprised. I think he’s going to be so happy. I mean, it’s so elegant, it’s timeless.”

In the piece, the exclusiveness of the wedding, which many outlets had previously speculated about, was confirmed.

“The wedding is extremely intimate,” Sánchez said, a statement reflected in the cover story’s claim that over 70 of the 200 guests invited were family.

Reports about Sánchez and Bezos opting for something less glitzy rather than going all out were also validated.

Ahead of the wedding, Bezos reportedly gifted the new bride, Sánchez, a jaw-dropping jewelry set.

The gift is reportedly a diamond necklace from a high-profile jeweler, valued at $3 million to $5 million.

“It’s a diamond necklace that circles her neck with a large center stone and matching earrings,” a source told Page Six.
