King Charles has voiced “profound concern” regarding his brother Andrew’s controversial connections to convicted sex offender Epstein, amid mounting pressure on the British monarchy.

A palace spokesperson said Monday, “The king has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct.”

The statement continued, “While the specific claims in question are for Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police, we stand ready to support them as you would expect.”

“As was previously stated, their majesties’ thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse,” the royal spokesperson concluded.

The king’s statement comes as at least two ongoing police inquiries involve Andrew.

Thames Valley Police, responsible for the area around Andrew’s former Windsor residence, the Royal Lodge, confirmed it is reviewing two separate complaints.

One involves a woman alleging Epstein sent her to the UK to have sexual encounters with Andrew while he held the title of Duke of York, a title he no longer holds.

Another alleges Andrew shared sensitive trade documents with Epstein, which an anti-monarchy campaigner reported as potential misconduct in public office and a breach of Britain’s Official Secrets Act.

U.S. Representative Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), co-author of the Epstein Transparency Act, said the king should publicly clarify what he knew about Andrew’s relationship with Epstein.

“I think this is the most vulnerable the British monarchy has ever been,” Khanna told Sky News. “They ought to ask the king and queen questions, and maybe this will be the end of the monarchy.”

Khanna further noted that the monarch needs to answer for what he knew regarding his brother’s ties to the late sex offender, stressing that “just stripping Andrew of a title is not enough.”

He emphasized that neither King Charles nor the Queen should receive special treatment in the matter.

Andrew, who lost his royal titles last year, has consistently denied wrongdoing and has not commented on the latest allegations.

The Former Prince Has Left His Royal Lodge Home Early

Meanwhile, Andrew has vacated his 30-room mansion, Royal Lodge, earlier than planned, moving temporarily to Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate, according to the BBC.

The former duke is expected to relocate to Marsh Farm, also on the estate, once renovations are complete.

Buckingham Palace had initially said the move would occur “early 2026,” but reports suggest it was expedited after new Epstein-related files surfaced.

“Prince William has long wanted Andrew as far away from Windsor as absolutely possible,” royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital.

She continued, “Andrew’s original departure was scheduled to be around Easter, but it was instead brought forward in the dead of night. The ousting is further confirmation of Andrew’s diminished status as a ‘persona non grata.’ There is no coming back for him.”

Pressure is also mounting for Andrew to provide testimony in the U.S. regarding his ties to Epstein. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has even called for him to appear before Congress.

“It is no surprise that Andrew has departed in darkness,” broadcaster Helena Chard said. “His former home, Royal Lodge, is in public view, and timing is critical. King Charles is aware it is highly unlikely the media frenzy will subside, and Andrew could be facing a police investigation. Temporarily, staying at Wood Farm allows scrutiny of Andrew to play out behind closed doors, away from prying eyes.”

“King Charles is exasperated with the fallout,” Chard added. “He’s putting on a brave face.”

Newly released photos from the Department of Justice, connected to the Epstein investigation, show Andrew in three images interacting with a woman.

Two depict him crouched with a hand on her stomach, while a third shows him on his knees with hands on either side of her body, looking at the camera.
