Kim Kardashian Is Taking Big Corporations To Court, Accusing Them Of Selling Counterfeit SKIMS Apparel

Kim, 44, has filed a lawsuit, coming for some of the world’s most popular e-commerce websites, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and others, according to a report from TMZ.

Based on the legal documents, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is hoping to block the above sites from allegedly selling dupes of her successful clothing line, SKIMS, and gather the profits they’ve already made on previous sales.

It’s unclear how much Kim is seeking in the suit, and it doesn’t reveal how much SKIMS might’ve lost; however, the legal docs reveal that the athleisure wear brand is valued at $4 billion.

And Kim is no stranger to facing legal troubles, as SKIMS was the subject of a lawsuit in 2024, according to The Blast.

A plaintiff filed the suit against the company last year, accusing SKIMS of secretly accessing her device after she visited the website in 2023 and later tracking her moves with spyware systems.

Years before that, Kim was accused of exploiting a cosmetic company with her line, KKW Beauty. The lawsuit claimed that the reality star infringed on another trademark and intentionally confused customers. Kim’s team, however, fired back, claiming she had no intention of deceiving the public.

“Considering Kardashian’s fame and access to over 100 million social media followers, no rational inference can be drawn that she would need or want to trick the public into associating her products with Kjaer Weis in order to gain exposure or traction,” the documents read.

SKIMS continues to grow in popularity, and earlier this week, the Kardashian fandom was working overtime to support Kim’s latest offering—thongs with faux pubic hair. For those unfamiliar, the brand released a line of 12 faux pubic hair thongs in various colors, featuring both straight and curly hair textures.

The underwear sold out within hours, surprising even Kim herself. “I’m shocked,” the mother of four said. “It got so much attention — we’ve been laughing and talking about it all day long.”

The company also joked about the new product on Instagram, sharing cheeky videos and captions. “With this iconic new panty, your carpet can be whatever color you want it to be!” one post read, according to E! News.

Kim Is Gearing Up For Her New Scripted TV Series

And when she’s not in the courtroom, fans can find Kim on the set of her new scripted Hulu series, “All’s Fair,” created by Ryan Murphy. In the production, Kim plays lawyer Allura Grant, and stars alongside actresses such as Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor, and Glenn Close.

“I got a lot of inspiration from Laura Wasser, who’s my family law attorney,” Kim said in an earlier interview. “We consulted with her. It was just so important to have someone that I could want to channel and want to feel. And that was Laura, who’s just like a badass woman that takes care of other women.”

Kim also praised her iconic co-workers, revealing she learned much from them during the production of the show.
