In June 2024, the singer showed off her jaw-dropping weight loss in a show-stopping fur coat worn open, stepping out onto Paris streets as she repped the Spanish designer during Paris Fashion Week.

Flaunting her cleavage and whittled-down torso as she displayed her slimmer figure, Katy made front-page news for her brazen display, seemingly raising eyebrows with fans.

Wearing absolutely nothing beneath her outwear, the “Woman’s World” hitmaker added Balenciaga’s signature pantaboot, rocking skintight sheer stockings with a rip and feeding them into pointed-toe black heels with a stiletto finish.

Displaying her taut abs as she sparked Ozempic rumors, Katy added statement dark shades, completing her look with her dark hair scraped back into a bun. Keeping glam with a heavy face of matte makeup, the 40-year-old showed off her chiseled features, and talk was as much about her bold fashion choice as it was about her weight loss.

The photos quickly made The Daily Mail‘s headlines, where over 1,800 comments have been left. “She looks terrible. Less is more sometimes,” one user wrote, gaining over 600 likes.

Meanwhile, over 1,300 fans agreed when a separate user replied: “I am no prude, in fact very open minded but that is just plain disgraceful. There used to be a law against such things where you could be charged with indecent exposure.” Also thinking that the look was too full-on was the fan stating: “Looking desperate. Shame because she doesn’t have to.”

Katy Perry also wound up slammed for repping Balenciaga, a brand that’s proven controversial since 2002, when an ad campaign showed children holding teddy bears in bondage clothing. SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian also fronts the luxury label.
