Earlier in the month, rumors swirled that Perry and Bloom had hit a “rough patch” in their nearly decade-long relationship.
According to reports at the time, the pop star had grown deeply frustrated with her album being critically panned. It was also claimed that they had grown apart and were no longer living the same lives.
Despite speculation that the duo might be ready to call things off for good, a source has revealed that there is still hope for Bloom and Perry’s romance to survive.
“No one has decided it’s definitely the end of the road for Katy and Orlando,” the insider told The Sun, adding that they “both love each other.”

Currently, Perry is on the Australian leg of her Lifetimes Tour, after she last hit the road in 2018.
While the tour has definitely placed the singer back in the limelight, the source said it has caused the “biggest disruption” to what she shared with Bloom due to the extensive preparation, rehearsals, and travel that have gone into it.
“Katy and Orlando have been disconnected for a while now, and with their work commitments, have been living separate lives,” the insider further shared about the situation between the engaged couple.

“They have barely been together for a decent amount of time, without distractions, for many, many months,” the source added. “It has been ‘go, go, go’ and they thrived when they enjoyed a more settled life, being together in the same place for a length of time. But that has just not happened.”

After performing in Adelaide, Australia, on June 30, Perry will go on a break until her July 10 date in Denver, Colorado.
During this break, she will reportedly “reunite” with Bloom and have a heart-to-heart conversation that will either make or break their romance.
“The plan is for them to reunite over the July 4 break. She has mentioned jetting back from Australia to spend time with Orlando, Daisy, her sister Angela, and her kids,” the insider noted.
Ahead of the outcome of the alleged talks, the “huge amount of love” between Perry and Bloom has sparked hope that they can “ride out this rough patch.”
“Anyone in long-term relationships goes through challenges, and many times when things appear to be done, couples reconnect and make things work,” added the source.
They continued, “The type of people they are, there still remains a lot of hope. Katy has never been happier in her life than with Orlando. If this reunion can revive those times, then they could come through this.”

A source who spoke with the news outlet claimed that the actor never thought “going on the mission was a good idea” and was “frustrated” and “disappointed” by her decision to embark on it nonetheless.
The insider went further to explain that Bloom “knew she would get backlash” from the mission, which is why he opposed it from the outset.
“From day one, Orlando didn’t think going on the Blue Origin mission was a good idea, and knew she would face backlash,” the source noted. “He always thought it was a stupid idea, and she wouldn’t get anything positive out of it.”
