A former employee of Kanye ‘Ye’ West is now dragging someone close to him into their legal battle.

The rapper, now legally known as Ye, became embroiled in a years-long dispute with a man known as Tony Saxon. The latter was the ex-project manager of Ye’s failed bomb shelter project.

Tony Saxon filed a lawsuit in 2023, seeking compensation for the time and effort spent on the project. He dropped various allegations against Kanye ‘Ye’ West, accusing him of dangerous working conditions, retaliatory termination, and unpaid dues.

According to new reports, Saxon wants Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori, to be involved in their legal battle as a potential witness. He called for the media personality to testify in an upcoming trial scheduled for February 21.

Saxon’s demands were noted in court documents obtained by TMZ; however, it was unclear why the ex-project manager believed Ye’s wife should take the witness stand. Censori wasn’t mentioned when Saxon filed his allegations against Ye in 2023.

At the time, Saxon explained that he was hired as the project manager, caretaker, and 24/7 security for the Malibu property Ye hoped to convert into a bomb shelter in 2021. The renovations soon became a nightmare for Saxon, who alleged he faced inhumane working conditions.

Saxon claimed he worked 16 hours a day and was forced to sleep on the floor while using a coat as makeshift bedding. His situation allegedly worsened in November 2021 when Ye requested that he remove all the property’s windows and electricity.

Saxon stressed that he shut down the idea, citing “extreme danger,” particularly because Ye insisted on bringing large generators inside. He noted that his fears were brushed aside, and Ye even threatened him, saying Saxon would become “an enemy” if he refused to adhere to Ye’s requests.

According to Saxon, he was fired on the spot when he refused, hence his lawsuit for unpaid wages and labor code violations. Ye has since denied all allegations of wrongdoing. In a November 2023 filing, his attorney argued that any damages allegedly incurred by Saxon came from a third party unrelated to Ye.

The Malibu property involved in the legal dispute between Ye and Saxon found a new owner in 2024. The sale, however, did not go through without any hiccups, as Saxon filed a $1.8 million mechanics lien on the property to secure payment for his alleged debts.

The Blast covered the story in May 2025, reporting that Ye had filed a petition detailing the inconvenience he suffered from Saxon’s mechanics lien. He noted that his former employee filed the lien in January 2024 to secure compensation for project management and construction services.

Ye’s legal team argued that the lien was “frivolous” and “unenforceable,” claiming it was filed in “bad faith” since Saxon was not a licensed contractor. Additionally, Ye had to obtain a Mechanics Lien Release Bond worth $2.2 million to facilitate the sale of the Malibu property.

Ye’s failed bomb shelter project got a new owner in 2024, according to a report by The Blast. The gutted Malibu property was sold for $21 million, leading to a $32 million loss for the rapper, who initially listed the home for $53 million.

After failing to attract any buyers with the high price, he slashed the price by $14 million. Eventually, he sold it for less to Belwood Investments, a “real estate crowdfunding firm” based in California. The company’s CEO, Bo Belmont, revealed he would likely spend more money on renovations.

Ye had gotten “Selling Sunset” star Jason Oppenheim to serve as his realtor, with the latter dropping a convincing sales speech to attract buyers. Oppenheim painted the deteriorated property as a clean slate for architectural geeks, noting they could renovate it to their preferred style.

Censori’s involvement in Ye and Saxon’s legal battle comes weeks after she opened up about her unique relationship with the entertainer. The Blast covered the story, reporting that she had denied the speculations about her risqué wardrobe choices.

According to the media personality, Ye did not force her to wear revealing clothing. Instead, her controversial fashion statements were a collaborative effort between them. “It was never ‘I was being told to do something,” Censori explained.

Censori also denied marrying Ye for clout, stressing that she never wanted a platform or to use his popularity to boost her image. “I married him because I love him. Is that like the corniest thing ever?” she gushed.
