Although the year has been quite eventful for Justin Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, the couple refused to let it get in the way of their marriage as they celebrate 13 years of marital bliss. 

Despite the trying times they encountered this year, with Timberlake’s tour and health challenge, the couple remains “very committed” to one another.

Fans may recall that at the end of his “Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” the singer opened up about his struggles with Lyme disease.

An insider revealed that the celebrity couple is “committed to their marriage” and is currently focused on their family following Timberlake’s recently concluded tour.

“Since Justin wrapped his tour over the summer, they’ve focused on family time. The tour was rough for everyone,” the source disclosed to People Magazine. Timberlake and Biel share two sons, Silas, 10, and Phineas, 5.

According to the informant, the family has been spending time together in Montana and Colorado. The couple who got married in 2012 had a “small celebration” for their 13th anniversary over the weekend, on October 19.

“Even when life is down, they’re very committed to their marriage. They are happy and united,” the source concluded.

The unity within the family does not come as a shock. Through the pop icon’s health challenges, Biel ensured she was present emotionally for both her husband and their sons.

As reported by The Blast, the actress made her sons her “first priority,” but that did not mean she neglected Timberlake either.

An insider shared, “She’s been incredibly emotionally supportive when he needs her. They’re navigating Justin’s new normal very well. The family cherishes their time with each other more than ever.”

Biel’s support did not go unnoticed as Timberlake took to Instagram to acknowledge his family for standing by him amid his health struggles.

Timberlake has often shown appreciation for his loved ones, and his recently concluded tour was no exception. At the end of the “Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” the 44-year-old songwriter reminisced on the experience with gratitude.

Per The Blast, the “Trolls” actor took to Instagram, describing the tour as “the most fun. Emotional. Gratifying. Physically demanding and, at times, grueling experience.”

The dancer also acknowledged his family, friends, fans, and “The TN kids,” saying it all would not have been possible without them.

In that same post, the “Prince of Pop” decided to let his fans in on something far more personal

“As many of you know, I’m a pretty private person. But as I’m reflecting on the tour and festival tour – I want to tell you a little bit about what’s going on with me,” Timberlake continued. He disclosed that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

The actor clarified that his intent was not to gain sympathy, but to be transparent about what he was facing “behind the scenes.”

Timberlake noted that his initial reaction to the diagnosis was shock, but a later realization, as it explained the nerve pain, exhaustion, and sickness he struggled with.

The diagnosis came with a tough decision for the singer to make: “Stop touring? Or, keep going and figure it out.” Despite the effects of the disease on his body, Timberlake chose to push through. 

“I decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body was feeling. I’m so glad I kept going,” he concluded.

Although the couple seems to be in a good place for their 13th anniversary, the picture of unity is a far cry from the rumors of marital tension that circulated in August.

As reported by The Blast, an insider revealed that the couple had grown distant due to the singer’s angry outbursts while on tour. 

“Instead of looking forward to welcoming her husband home, Jessica is dreading their reunion,” said the informant. Despite the couple’s marriage lasting over a decade, the source stated that Timberlake’s anger issues were a deal breaker for Biel. 

They shared that the mother of two had previously addressed the issue with Timberlake and urged him to seek professional help. “She’s fed up and ready to walk unless he does what she tells him!” the insider noted.
