Despite Hailey Bieber‘s recent show of support for her husband Justin Bieber during his surprise appearance at SZA‘s concert, the couple reportedly faces marriage challenges.

The situation between them is said to be “getting more unbearable week after week” and may soon reach a boiling point that could trigger a split.

The revelation comes after Justin Bieber received backlash for his seemingly backhanded compliment, congratulating Hailey Bieber on her Vogue cover appearance.

One of the sources claimed that the tension between the duo has increased exponentially in the wake of the singer showcasing several questionable behaviors on social media and in public.

“I don’t know how long they will be together or if they’ll wait until things explode, but the situation is getting more unbearable week after week,” the insider told The Sun.

Although all of this tension isn’t really seen when the couple is out in public, they reportedly “avoid being in the same room” when they are at home.

“Then they also travel a lot separately,” the insider added about the couple who tied the knot in 2018. “They mostly do their own thing when they have time off. The situation is explosive.”

One such strange behavior from Bieber was his seemingly backhanded compliment to his wife when she appeared on the cover of Vogue for the first time.

“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” the singer wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, per The Blast. “I told Hails she would never be on the cover of Vogue . . .Yikes, I know, so mean . . . For some reason, because I felt so disrespected . . . I thought I gotta get even.”

He added, “So baby, you already know, but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover, cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

The remarks immediately brought him much backlash from people online, who saw his comments as a lack of belief in Hailey’s career prospects.

In April, Bieber was spotted kissing rapper Sexyy Red on the cheek while sitting close to her during her 27th birthday celebrations.

The act was criticized by netizens, with one saying, “Kissing a friend on the cheek as a married man is a lil much… idk,” while another commented, “Lowkey gives Red more attention than he does to Hailey.”

Undeterred by the backlash, Bieber was recently seen in a similar scenario when he made an unexpected appearance on stage at SZA’s Los Angeles show. There, he oddly chose to plant kisses on the singer’s hand while holding on to her for what seemed longer than normal during his performance with her.

According to The Sun, the “Baby” singer was also seen in the comment section of the post of Barbie actress Ariana Greenblatt, 17, who bears a likeness to his ex, Selena Gomez.

There, he wrote, “I love youuuuuuuuu” and was quickly called out by Hailey’s fans, who described his remarks as “creepy” and “disturbing.” Some also pointed out that he seems to love “embarrassing” his wife at “every opportunity.”

Beyond Bieber’s erratic behavior, another factor has reportedly played a role in the couple growing apart.

This is said to be their shifting dynamic caused by their contrasting career situations.

On one hand, Hailey’s booming success with her skincare line, Rhode, has positioned her as a rising mogul, with reports also suggesting she is well on her way to joining the billionaire club.

Meanwhile, Bieber’s music career has cooled off after becoming one of the world’s biggest pop stars. He hasn’t landed a major hit since 2022, the year he offloaded his music catalog for $200 million amid whispers of mounting financial strain.

Now, behind closed doors, the couple is reportedly “constantly at each other’s throats,” and Bieber’s alleged tendency to fight dirty may be the final nail in what many believe is an already crumbling marriage.

“Justin and Hailey get into fights, and Justin goes for the low-hanging fruit to try to win arguments, to make Hailey feel bad, and it works,” a source revealed, per The Sun.

Amid his alleged marital issues, Bieber finally responded to widespread rumors that Diddy sexually abused him as a teenage pop star.

The embattled rapper, who is currently standing trial for charges bordering sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, stunned fans when a video of him hanging out with a young Bieber for “48 hours” surfaced online.

Fans also thought they still had a good relationship with each other as they worked together on Diddy’s last album. However, the “Sorry” hitmaker released a statement on Thursday saying Diddy didn’t do anything of the sort to him.

“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve,” a spokesperson for the singer said in a statement to TMZ.

Insiders also told the news outlet that Diddy never abused Bieber, saying the unearthed videos that flooded the Internet were simply “performative” and Bieber was instead closer to his sons, not Diddy.
