Justin Bieber and Tate McRae lead the nominations for the 2026 Juno Awards, Canada’s version of the Grammys, which were announced on Tuesday.
Bieber, already an eight-time Juno winner, will compete in the best single category for “Daisies,” album of the year for SWAG II, and artist of the year, among other categories. Tate McRae returns to the Junos competition this year with a best single nod for “Sports Car,” album of the year for So Close to What, and an artist of the year nod.
Other multiple nominees include Cameron Whitcomb, who earned five nominations, including breakthrough artist of the year, best single for “Options,” and best album for The Hard Way. The Weeknd also returns to Juno contention with a best single entry for “Cry For Me,” best album entrant Hurry Up Tomorrow, and best artist of the year. Over the years, The Weeknd has earned 22 Juno trophies and 46 nominations.
Elsewhere, Daniel Caesar raked in four Juno nominations, and will perform at Canada’s music awards alongside The Beaches and Jessie Reyez. And the Juno Fan Choice category, voted on by ordinary movie lovers, has nominations for bbno$, The Weeknd, Tate McRae, Shubh, Shawn Mendes, Karan Aujla, Bieber, Josh Ross, James Parker Band and Cameron Whitcomb.
And the best group of the year competition has entries for Arcade Fire, Mother Mother, Peach Pit, The Beaches and Three Days Grace. The nominations were unveiled by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences ahead of the 55th edition of the Junos being presented on March 29 in Hamilton, Ontario.
