Monday kicks off with the Virgo Moon snoozing through Mercury’s turf, nudging us all to reconsider what really matters — like a mental garage sale where some old beliefs get tossed and new treasures tucked in. Meanwhile, Venus cozying up to Uranus in Taurus promises a surprise remix of your heart’s playlist. Curious how your values might do the hokey pokey and turn themselves around? fire and iceMonday’s Virgo Moon moves through the middle of the Mercury-ruled sign, through the Moon’s south node. Sunny Leo Mercury moves away from opposition to Aquarius Pluto as Venus heads ever more closely into conjunction with Uranus in Taurus. A grounded, contemplative mood falls back on refining its position, and that position sparks the beginning of a revolution in values and desire.

When you’ve had your outlook challenged, it’s natural to reshuffle your opinion cards, make new pairs and groupings, and maybe even discard a few. Rankings rise and fall. New values emerge, others recede. Overall, there’s a sense of general curiosity, concurrently shifting to accommodate a newly challenged or validated worldview. Solidifying knowledge is satisfying. Pruning and tuning goals, desires, and wishes to match feels safer, satisfying. We’re yearning to fall back into familiarity.

On Tuesday, the Virgo Moon quincunxes Aries Chiron as it also trines Venus and Uranus. Have your ever ridden a bike with gears? This feels like changing gears as you ride, and that clunk hits for just a moment — right before things get easier or harder. Here it’s likely easier. Monday’s machinations click in and take off. The mood is delightful, delighted, delighting in the novelty and newness of the rearranged oldness.

Later the Moon moves to Venus-ruled Libra and opposition to Saturn-Neptune in Aries and trine to retro Pluto. Is the change dizzying? Mars in Virgo compliments momentum in the mood, quickening the pace as the Moon heads into square with Cancer Jupiter. It may all feel a bit fast. Control is less tangible, more intellectual and internal. Finding a happy medium is the mood -lifter. Diplomacy feels like safety, but it also aids in re-establishing equilibrium.

Wednesday’s Libra Moon sextiles Leo Mercury and squares the Cancer Sun. Continue diplomacy, but square up with your short term goals. It’s fun!

On Thursday, the Libra Moon opposes Chiron in Aries, then the Moon heads onto the point of a yod with Saturn-Neptune and Venus-Uranus by night. Any wrench in the spokes may be considered a blessing. It either comes along to steer us back onto the tracks (or hold us up as the train whizzes by), or it’s there to remind us what else we’ve got left to clear up and manage going forward.

Friday morning, Venus perfects its conjunction to Uranus, then Venus leaves its own rulership for Mercury-ruled Gemini. Venus heads into sextile with Saturn and Neptune, but so does Uranus. New and changing desires will shift reality. Pleasure feeds action, in a flash.

The Scorpio Moon squares sign-ruler Pluto and trines Jupiter in Cancer. The whipped up need for control alongside the snappy urge to advance is a moody inflation of mounting tensions. However, this may be motivation we need to break through, move up from below. It’s a deeply passionate morning, and the Cancer Sun joins in as it heads into trine with Scorpio Juno. A deep day for a big mood.

Afternoon takes the Scorpio Moon into square with Mercury and sextile to Mars, exact in the night. The pyrotechnics are literal and metaphorical. Physical and emotional. However, Venus and Uranus move into trine with Pluto, air-earth to air, so control depends on the desire to make that happen. Destroy or improve? Odds lie with improve. Why? Because it feels best. Maybe a little of both: improve through destruction. Water, the mood, is nearby to bank flames. So is earth, in action.

Don’t you want something different? Something better?
