Jennifer has long voiced her support for her LGBTQ+ fans. In 2023, the White Lotus actor received a standing ovation at the 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards. “You know, I have so much respect for the LGBTQ community and I just want you all to know that I love you and I thank you for always being there for me,” she said.
Jennifer replied, “Maybe heterosexual people are more self-conscious.”
After taking a beat to think about her response, Jennifer said, “I think gay men and gay women just let loose and have a blast. They know how to have a really, really good — really fun time.”
“They’re really original, you know. They’re a superior group of people.”
Listen, I knew Jennifer was mother, but I fear she could never top this statement. She wasn’t playing around when her character Tanya said, “Gay guys are really the best if you’re looking for a friend.”
