Ever wonder what it takes to throw a billion-dollar wedding when the stars and your bank account are both literally out of this world? Well, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are about to set the cosmic bar pretty high — and no, it’s not just because Bezos once sent Lauren to space. Their Venetian nuptials have already stirred up a tempest, with protesters plotting canal shenanigans and a last-minute venue shift that screams “over-the-top.” But here’s the kicker: their leaked invite includes a peculiar plea — no gifts, please. Instead, they’re channeling their largesse into preserving Venice’s cultural heartbeat and fragile lagoon ecosystems. Could this be Capricorn’s savvy sense of responsibility shining through, or just an eccentric billionaire’s version of a moonlit charity gala? Either way, the invite’s cartoonish artwork has the internet buzzing — some call it an evite faux pas, others wonder if Microsoft Paint got involved. Curious about what makes this wedding so uniquely… Bezos? Dive in and see what’s really on the invitation. LEARN MORE
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s leaked wedding invite has a strange detail that you may not expect.
It’s safe to say that this wedding of the century has raised a few eyebrows.
Amazon CEO, Bezos has reportedly spent an arm and a leg to marry American journalist Lauren Sanchez.
Even though he lost $38 billion to his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott in their divorce settlement, the billionaire is willing to spend his fortune on new love.
Bezos is worth $215 billion and even sent his wife-to-be to space earlier this year and their wedding will be no less extravagant either.
Well, it’ll probably cost more considering they’ve had to move their wedding from their original Venice location after being threatened by protesters that they’d release inflatable crocodile into the canals.
So now, they’ll be using a more secure Venetian place.

As for the reaction to the big news, protesters were happy.
“This is a big victory for us,” said Tommaso Cacciari, a member of the No Space for Bezos protest group.
“Who would have thought that we could change the plans of one of the richest men on the planet?”
But now that the wedding will go ahead in a no-doubt similarly expensive location, it’s all settled until the big day.
Now, for anyone who has ever planned a wedding, you’ll know that a key component is the guest invite.
It tells guests the theme, the location, the time and more. But on Bezos’s invite, it asks guests not to do something that is usually expected, and it also included some baffling imagery. He asked them not to give gifts.
A copy of part of an invitation has been revealed after it was obtained by ABC News, according to the Daily Mirror.
Apparently, the invite reads: “We’re excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts.” But there’s a good reason for this.
According to the couple, they will allegedly be donating money instead for numerous local causes.
It reads: “Instead, we’re making contributions in your honor and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice.

“Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard the city’s irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the lagoon habitats that protect Venice’s future, and to Venice International University to support research and education for sustainable solutions.”
It ended with: “This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Our hope is that through these efforts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come.”
However, people were quick to slam the invite which included cartoonish images of Venice, birds and flowers.
One said: “Wow! Did they just send an evite for their multi million dollar wedding?”
Another added: “Wow what an ugly announcement/invitation. With all the money he has they could have at least done something pretty and classy,” with a third saying: “Was the invitation made in microsoft paint?”
