Recently, Cailee responded to rumors she was dating Jacob after he revealed his very wholesome phone wallpaper, which featured an image of them together.
On a Nov. 6 episode of the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, the Frankenstein star shared his current phone wallpaper. “Right now, my wallpaper is me and my beautiful friend Cailee Spaeny from Priscilla,” he said. “I love her. What a performer.”
The wholesome moment “broke the internet,” and even had people speculating there’s more to the relationship between the Priscilla co-stars.

Well, on a recent episode of Today, the Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery star is shutting down those rumors. “This was a great night,” she said in response to a question about the wallpaper. “He’s a dear friend and I’m so proud of him.”
“We were just celebrating his incredible performance in Frankenstein. He’s just gotten two Golden Globe nominations for Frankenstein and his show Narrow Road to the Deep North, and I’m just so proud of him,” she said.
And, in case you’re wondering what’s on Cailee’s phone, no, it’s not another photo of her and Jacob. “I’m just a grandma,” Cailee said. “I just took a film photo of a nice rosebush.”
