According to reports, Travis Kelce is also considering retiring after his contract ends in 2027 and starting a family with Taylor Swift.

Swift has decided to take a significant step in her relationship with Kelce by relocating to Nashville full-time.

According to the Daily Mail, the singer’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs star has “shifted her priorities around.”

While Swift had previously preferred New York City as her primary base in the U.S., this decision reportedly signals a shift in the pop star’s “new outlook on life.”

An insider shared that as her bond with Kelce strengthens, the move to Nashville represents her desire to plan a future with the NFL star.

“Taylor has grown up a lot in the past couple of years,” the source explained. “Falling in love with Travis so deeply has shifted her priorities around a bit and has given her a new outlook on life.”

While Swift still owns homes in Rhode Island and Los Angeles, the insider noted that settling in Nashville seems to be a deliberate choice aligned with her vision for the future.

According to the source, Swift plans to move in with Kelce full-time in Nashville when they’re ready to start a family. The footballer’s location, now only a 90-minute flight away, has made the decision easier.

However, the insider explained that the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker will always keep her New York City home and other properties worldwide.

“New York City is exciting, and Taylor will always consider this home. But she is growing, as is their relationship, and she feels that it is time for her to establish roots in the ground for her future,” they said.

The insider added that the move also carries special meaning, as Swift began her career in Nashville.

“Nashville is the place where she started her career, and this is all coming full circle,” the source told the news outlet. “They both love the city. It is beautiful and it offers them the peace and tranquility with the assurance of safety that they both require.”

A second source told the Daily Mail that while Kelce is still weighing his career options, he is considering a time when he could “ride off into the sunset” and start a family with Swift.

The insider revealed that the couple is fully committed to each other, but decisions “as it pertains to where they will live in the foreseeable future, especially together, will be judged by a few factors.”

“Taylor, who won’t be giving up her spots in New York and such, is going to spend more time in Nashville and would love Travis to join her and he will,” the source said. “But in the next few months, for Travis at least, will determine what he ends up doing.”

The insider added, “He’s not ready to retire, but if the Chiefs win a third consecutive Super Bowl, Travis will be more prone to retire after his current contract that expires in 2027 and ride off into the sunset and look to start a family with Taylor anywhere she wants, which is leaning towards Nashville.”

In an appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, Kelce opened up about dating one of the world’s most famous singers, shedding light on their whirlwind romance.
