Inside Trump’s Top-Secret Nuclear Bunker 2,000 Feet Underground—Is the Planet Aligning for Doomsday or Just Another Reality Show?

Added on October 6, 2025 inPolitics Cards

So, imagine this: the stars are all aligned (or maybe misaligned) above us, and bam!—the unthinkable happens. President Donald Trump would be hurried—yes, whisked away like a secret agent in an old spy flick—to a mysterious underground fortress near a major Colorado city if a nuclear strike ever hit the U.S. Now, with nine countries holding these terrifying arsenals, including the usual suspects like the U.S., Russia, China, and a few others you might not see at your average poker game, the tension feels as thick as a Mercury retrograde fog. And speaking of timing, isn’t it curious how our celestial buddies seem to conspicuously nudge world events? If today’s cosmic hustle has you wondering, how safe are our leaders when the world’s on the brink? The Cheyenne Mountain Complex, that Cold War relic turned “America Fortress,” isn’t just some dusty bunker—it’s a 2,400-foot granite-guarded stronghold complete with blast-proof steel doors and even a Subway (the most secure sandwich shop on Earth, believe it or not). So, when the sky decides to go all Apocalyptic on us, it’s here that Trump would end up—along with a tight circle of officials—before jetting off on one of the Air Force’s Doomsday planes. Fascinating and chilling, right? Let’s dive deeper and explore the labyrinth of secret bunkers, military readiness, and yes, cosmic coincidences swirling around it all. LEARN MORE.

President Donald Trump would be rushed to a secret underground bunker outside of a major Colorado city if a nuclear attack were to ever strike the United States.

Nine countries possess nuclear weapons: the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, China, France, India, Israel, North Korea, and Pakistan, according to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.

If an attack took place in the United States tomorrow, then Trump, 79, would be whisked to a secure bunker known as the Cheyenne Mountain Complex.

The Cheyenne Mountain Complex serves as the Alternate Command Center for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and a host of other critical military and defense agencies.

Completed in early 1967, the so-called America Fortress is buried under 2,400 feet of solid granite. It is also described as the nation’s last line of defense in the event of a catastrophic attack, according to NewsNation.

The outlet reported that the top-secret facility is situated nearly a mile inside the mountain and around 10 miles from Colorado Springs.

Featuring bomb blast doors that can be sealed with hydraulic machinery or by hand, the underground complex spans a staggering 5.1 acres, houses 15 buildings, and reportedly features a fully operational Subway restaurant.

This eatery is described as ‘the most secure Subway’ in the world. It also has its own power plant and systems to both heat and cool down the area.

A series of lakes is used to provide inhabitants with water, with officials confirming food supplies have been stockpiled to sustain employees and high-ranking political figures for a ‘very long time’.

It can reportedly withstand a nuclear blast of multiple megatons from as close as 1.5 miles away, according to reports.

The facility is also engineered to protect its residents from chemical, biological, and radiological attacks, as well as major nuclear threats, thanks to the shock-absorbing springs it sits on.

The structure can also apparently withstand cyberterrorism and electromagnetic pulses.

According to NORAD Col. Cory Kwasny, the inside of the Cheyenne Mountain Complex is similar to a time capsule.

“You might walk in and think you’re still back in the 1950s and ’60s. The design of it hasn’t changed. You feel like you’re walking into a time capsule. But it has been modernized, including all the communications systems and all the networking systems needed to do our job effectively,” he told The Denver Post earlier this year.

“It is not a museum piece, not something sitting here mothballed, waiting for a new purpose or a new life. It is being used daily.”

NewsNation reported that Gen. Gregory Guillot, commander of US Northern Command and NORAD, oversees the Cold War-era facility’s operations.

The four-star general is believed to be responsible for protecting the country from threats ranging from Russian fighter jets and Chinese spy balloons to dangerous drug trafficking operations.

When asked about current threats, including the possibility of World War III breaking out, Guillot said: “I don’t worry. We got the greatest military members working it and we are ready.”

The Sun has outlined exactly what would happen to Trump if a serious nuclear threat were aimed at America.

The President would first be rushed directly into a shelter underneath the White House before boarding one of the Air Force’s ‘Doomsday’ jets.

The outlet reported that a ‘tight circle of officials’ would travel with the businessman, while the Defense Secretary, cabinet officials, and congressional leaders would be moved to a hardened continuity site, including Mount Weather in Virginia or Raven Rock in Pennsylvania.
