From Bat-flick to rom-coms that never hit home like Jersey Girl, Ben Affleck has had a slew of horrible performances throughout his career.

Even as the lead actor, Affleck is emotionless and doesn’t make himself stand out amongst the crowd, landing him at number 98 on IMDb‘s Worst Actors/Actresses List.

Owen Wilson

Okay, it isn’t Owen Wilson’s fault that he gets cast in literally every other rom-com that isn’t going to get high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. That being said, when an actor’s catchphrase is “wow,” there is something wrong.

Even with serious dramatic roles, viewers have a hard time separating Wilson from his more silly and fun rom-com roles. Sadly, his range just isn’t there.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow might have an Academy Award, but, according to critics, she isn’t’ a fantastic actress. One of the reviews from her film View From the Top even went as far as saying, “Miss Paltrow? We’re gonna need that Oscar back.”

In fact, IMDb gave Paltrow the “coveted” top slot in their Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List.

This upcoming actress won a Razzie for her portrayal of Batgirl.

Madonna

The thing about Madonna is that while she has been on top of her singing game since the 80s, her acting never really caught up. Critics have called her performances artificial and even advised against seeing her films altogether, especially Chicago Sun-Times.

In fact, one movie alone landed her at the 3rd slot of IMDb‘s op 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List. The film Evita.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox can’t seem to catch a break. Not only is she cast in horrible movies, but critics take notice. So much so that she earned seven Golden Raspberry nominations, winning one for Worst Supporting Actress in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

On IMDb, she ranks number five on the Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List, namely for her role in the Transformers movies.

Bo Derek

Bo Derek’s career has been interesting at best, going from R-rated films like Fantasies to mainstream Hollywood films like A Change of Seasons and Tarzan, the Ape Man.

The latter film actually scored Derek a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress. Sadly, people just couldn’t get over her “airhead” performance.

Jaden Smith

Even at a young age, it was obvious to critics that Jaden Smith was not his father. His performances in films such as After Earth did nothing more than put a bad taste in people’s mouths.

In fact, one reviewer even went as far as saying, “Kitai [Jaden Smith’s character] must be like his dad: show no fear. Or any emotion. Or any acting talent of any sort.” He actually landed on IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actress List at number four.

Alicia Silverstone

After her Clueless days, Alicia Silverstone didn’t do too much with her career. Going into the superhero genre, the actress did no favors to the already campy Batman & Robin film, portraying a questionable version of Batgirl.

Her performance of then superheroine actually earned Silverstone a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actress and the number 61 slot of IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actress List.

This upcoming Hollywood starlet should have stuck to society appearances.

Ashton Kutcher

While Ashton Kutcher practically grew up in the limelight, thanks to his role as Kelso on That 70s Show, critics are quick to point out that he never grew out of his fun-loving and yet dimwitted boy-next-door roles.

Because of this, Kutcher finds himself at number 28 on IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List.

Tommy Wiseau

For those who have seen The Room, it is hard to argue that Tommy Wiseau is hands down one of the worst actors in Hollywood.

In fact, according to IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List, Wiseau lands at number two for his dreadful performance on the silver screen. Even so, a well-received film, The Disaster Artist, was made after it.

Shaquille O’Neal

Some athletes need to leave their skills on the court, Shaquille O’Neal included. After seeing his starring performance in Steel, one critic even went as far as saying, “Shaquille O’Neil should be legally barred from acting.”

On IMDb, Shaq landed at number 56 on the site’s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List.

Rob Schneider

Funnyman Rob Schneider isn’t a critic pleaser, at least when it comes to his self-deprecating roles that come off as nothing more than repulsive and eye-rolling inducing.

For his role in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, a film that got a solid 9% on Rotten Tomatoes, Schneider wound up landing at number 30 on IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List.

Paris Hilton

Just because people have a boatload of money doesn’t mean they should go into Hollywood and act. Take Paris Hilton, for example. The heiress’s performances in films such as House of Wax and The Hottie & The Nottie are stiff at best and zombie-like at worst.

Critics might have a point, and Hilton should stick to social events that are off the silver screen.

Jamie Kennedy

Sadly for Jamie Kennedy, he kind of got the short end of the stick, starring in some not-so-great movies during his career. Because of his resume, Kennedy isn’t really taken seriously as an actor.

Due to all of the flack he received for his role in Son of the Mask, Kennedy actually hosted Hecklers, a documentary exploring hecklers during bad performances.

Kevin James

Kevin James is arguably best known for his role on King of Queens but has a list of poorly reviewed films on his resume, some of which include Pixels, Paul Bart: Mall Cop, and I Know Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

Unfortunately for James, his quirky performances have earned him seven Golden Raspberry Awards and a place on IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List, landing at number 54.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

While Jennifer Love Hewitt is a known name in Hollywood, it doesn’t mean her acting is top-notch. In fact, she is certifiable “not fresh,” according to Rotten Tomatoes.

This means that Hewitt has not released a movie that has gone about a 60% on the site throughout her entire film career. Sadly, for the actress, that is pretty difficult to accomplish.

Jason Statham

Action action Jason Statham has a big presence in Hollywood, namely in big action-adventure blockbuster films. Even so, his range is not quite there, leaving him as a forgettable name next to stars such as The Rock.

Honestly, there’s a reason why he’s only been nominated for two awards during his career, winning neither.

Tom Green

Comedian Tom Green received four awards for his awful acting: two Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Actor and Worst Director, and two Stinker’s Bad Movie Awards for the same categories.

According to film critic Roger Ebert, “This movie isn’t below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.” Yikes.

Ruby Rose

Stiff, horrible, and void of any emotion whatsoever, Ruby Rose flaked as a film star and then couldn’t find her footing on something as cliché as a DC comics television show.

While Batgirl‘s plot was not only horrible, Rose’s limited range and emotionless delivery as Kate Kane did the show zero favors. Many critics have stated that watching her performance is nothing more than a waste of time.

Being a teen idol doesn’t mean a person can act, as proven by this upcoming former Disney star.

Chris Tucker

While Chris Tucker kind of made a redemption arc for himself for his performance in Silver Linings Playbook, he is still considered one of the lesser actors in Hollywood.

It doesn’t help that he has the Rush Hour films on his resume, a franchise that fell even more flat with each movie.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler has proven he knows how to act, thanks to his performance in Uncut Gems. Unfortunately, it doesn’t detract from the fact that he’s made a career of horrible performances on the silver screen.

The actor has a total of 23 Golden Raspberry Award nominations, winning a solid nine!

Tanya Roberts

Bond girls usually get a great response from critics and viewers alike in James Bond films. Sadly, the same can’t be said about Tanya Roberts. For her performance in A View to Kill, one reviewer said her acting “Brings the experience down quite a bit.”

She even wound up being nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress.

Heather Locklear

Actress Heather Locklear has a few accolades to her name, but it doesn’t deter from the fact that she also won a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress in The Return of Swamp Thing.

Even with her most iconic performance on Melrose Place, her performance didn’t sit well with viewers.

Hilary Duff

More of a teen idol than a serious actress during her heyday, Hilary Duff is nothing to write home about, according to critics.

Films such as The Lizzie McGuire Movie and A Cinderella Story, while popular teen flicks, did nothing more than immortalizing her as nothing more than a Disney star.

Freddie Prinze Jr.

Freddie Prinze Jr. has some great credits to his name, such as voicing Jedi Kanan Jarrus in the animated series Star Wars Rebels. Unfortunately, for Prinze Jr., that one credit doesn’t overshadow films such as She’s All That and two live-action Scooby-Doo movies.

At the end of the day, the actor lands at number 58 on IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List.

Brigitte Nielsen

When reviewers say,” [No one] ever liked admitting they enjoyed a movie with Brigitte,” it is not a good sign for an actress. Brigitte Nielsen has starred in popular and well-received films such as Rocky IV and Creed II.

While the films went on to earn great reviews, they had one thing in common, Nielsen’s performances fell flat.

Drew Barrymore

A presence in Hollywood since a very young age, Drew Barrymore’s adorable childhood acting days are now overlooked by some of her questionable performances in films such as Never Been Kissed, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Blended, and Duplex.

The latter three actually earned the actress Golden Raspberry Award nominations, along with her role in one of Tom Green’s movies.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger will not “be back” in the critics’ good graces after some questionable performances on the silver screen, including the projects Around the World in 80 Days, Kindergarten Cop, and The 6th Day.

At the end of the day, Schwarzenegger has a Golden Raspberry Award nomination to his name and lands at number 40 on IMDb‘s Top 100 Worst Actors/Actresses List.

Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner proves that being a teen heartthrob doesn’t earn awards or respect from film critics. The actor’s cringe-worthy performance throughout the Twilight franchise proves as much!

And if that isn’t enough to convince people that Lautner is not one of Hollywood’s finest, his 11 Golden Raspberry Award nominations and three wins might sway them.
