Harry Styles Drops ‘Aperture’—But Is This Dance Track Hiding a Secret Message for Exes (and Geminis)?

Added on January 23, 2026 inMusic News Cards

If Mercury in retrograde can usher in chaos, what does it mean when Harry Styles drops a new single early? Are the planets—like screaming fangirls—lining up just for him? You know, I checked my horoscope today and it said, “Don’t be afraid to embrace the unexpected.” Well, Harry apparently got the memo before me, because the pop universe just snapped open its own aperture. He’s back, glitter boots and all, with “Aperture,” his highly anticipated dance-fueled lead single, and he didn’t even wait till midnight—talk about not following the rules, Aquarius-style. I can’t decide if my heart is racing from the synths or just the fact that Styles’ first solo return since “Harry’s House” is giving my Venus placement whiplash. And with a world tour and a 30-date New York residency announced within the same cosmic breath…I mean, does this man ever sleep? Get ready to check your birth chart, queue up “Aperture,” and maybe, just maybe, kiss all the time—disco, occasionally. LEARN MORE

Harry Styles is officially back with new music as the pop superstar released “Aperture,” the lead single off his upcoming fourth album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, on Thursday.

Styles elected to release the song a bit earlier than the industry standard, dropping at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday rather than the typical midnight Friday time.

Fitting to the album’s title, the project’s latest single is fit for the dance floor, lined with synths and groovy percussion as Styles sings “we belong together” during the song’s chorus. At five minutes long, it’s lengthier than one may expect for a lead single on a pop record. (Listen to Styles’ latest track “Aperture” below.)

The song release comes just hours after Styles revealed his upcoming Together, Together world tour, which will feature a 30-date residency in New York later this year. Tickets are slated to go on sale next week.

Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, meanwhile, will release in March. Styles had been teasing the record in recent weeks before finally unveiling the project a week ago.

Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally is Styles’ fourth solo album and his first since 2022’s Harry’s House, which won the Grammy for album of the year and featured global hit “As it Was.” As Styles’ first release in several years, “Aperture” will assuredly be a chart contender around the world, where it will compete with the likes of Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and KPop Demon Hunters’ Huntrix for the top slot.
